You can improve and manage your workout stats in real time by connecting to the Smart Rope LED/PURE/ROOKIE. Smart Rope is a new app that has been improved from the original Smart Gym app. Smart Rope and Smart Gym are not compatible, so a resubscribing is required to use SmartRope app. Jumping rope is a full body workout, it strengthens your upper and lower body, and burns a lot of calories in a short time. Therefore, many trainers and experts recommend jumping rope as the best fat-burning exercise; better than running or cycling. So set up a daily target for yourself and try to reach it. This application is for 'Smart Rope'. Compatible with LED/PURE/ROOKIE products. Smart Rope App Features: -Basic Count Supports 4 basic modes: Jump count/Calories burned/Time elapsed/Daily target(%). This will help you to reach your daily exercise goals more effectively. -Interval Training Select training sessions with recommended workout and rest intervals, based on your skill level and fitness goals. This way you can boost your stamina in a short period of time. -Leaderboard See how you stack up against the competition, rank yourself against Smart Rope users around the world. You can check the daily/weekly/overall ranking at any time. -History See the jump count per month or year as a graph. Enter your weight to track your burned calories more accurately. - Apple Health App Supports You may opt to integrate SmartRope with Apple's Health App Database. If you grant SmartRope access to Apple's Health App Database, SmartRope may import or export your data to the Health App Database in certain circumstances, such as to aid you in the tracking of health and wellness goals. In addition, Spire may transfer data that you store locally on your Device, such as steps, calories burned and breaths per minute to the Health App Database. SmartRope cannot read or write to the Health App Database unless you grant permission. Perhaps I forgot to turn it off. It should really auto power off after a few minutes of inactivity. - currently each skip is being shared to Apple health individually which is playing havoc in my other health apps as there are then hundreds of smart rope entries per session. It doesn’t record the workouts properly and every time you take a break it counts as a separate workout. So for example if I do interval training it records as 5 different workouts. It therefore provides no analysis of heart rate throughout. Only one suggestion… Is there any way to let us change/increase the “count down timer” that kicks in when we stop skipping. The few seconds that is it gives now is enough to untangle the rope and start skipping again, but if I want to grab my water bottle and take a drink, then I will go over the countdown timer. Unfortunately when this happens it breaks the workout into different sessions in Apple Fitness. Can we manually change it? Even something as simple as letting users choose 10/20/30/40 seconds for the timer. The app is well thought out but it’s missing one feature. Me and my girlfriend have one each and we workout together and in been the intervals we like to do weights training kettlebells etc. This app has the opportunity to allow custom intervals in which you set your skip goal per interval and also your workout time and even your rest time. Also if I create a custom workout and I’m about to start it, you should have a share option maybe via airdrop so friends and family you are working out with don’t have to go through the hassle of remaking the program. My last star is waiting for you developer. It’ ridiculous. I’d rather use the Apple Watch skipping activity and COUNT! At least that way it’s not spamming my Strava and with tiny activities. I don’t see why after years the developers can’t put a switch to toggle on/off the automatic resetting of the activity. Tbh I think eBay might be the better place for this overpriced rope. I’ll be uninstalling the app again. I gave up on the app before mainly because of the 100s of tiny activities in Apple Health, and I’m giving up on it again. Then I did 1000 more and my final workout said I did only around 700. My partner did over 5000 and it said he did 1200!! 👎🏼👎🏼 We didn’t have the best phone/4g signal at the time, but with a Bluetooth device this should be in issue. Terrible and so frustrating, I could have purchased a £10 rope on Amazon that counts more accurately. And my only other issue is, I would like to be able to link it with other services - for example trigger an event if I meet my goals for the day etc. There are external devices that could do the hard work and logic if there was just an automated way to extract the raw data every day and push it to a cloud service, but I can’t see a way to that. Otherwise a nice product which seems to work well. -- hotrod7020, 2020-11-01 ### ***-- "I Want More Control" This is my first smart skipping rope and whilst I am very much enjoying the benefit of this technology I am frustrated with this app. For the most part the app is a decent UI, colourful and easy to navigate. However, I set myself the target of 2000 skips per day. I can start off well but if I misstep or rest for a beat or two the app resets the time and counter... within a matter of seconds!! Suddenly I don’t know my skip count or total time taken. I know I can find these out but it seems nuts to me that I don’t get to control when the timer stops. I want to see my total time and my total count for that workout/day! I don’t want to be calculating it in my head! That’s the whole point of an app! So I am requesting that this please be an update for the app. Get rid of the automatic stop and reset or make it an option to turn that off in the settings! Or, at the very least, make the skip count for the day a screen choice. I’d give this 5 stars if this was addressed. I’m honestly happy with the rest of the app but this issue seems like it should have been a basic necessity from the creation of it.
