Half the time the connection is not there. I have no problems with any other internet connection so I blame the app. I can’t do anything on it most of the time. And I can’t find anywhere clear directions as to what settings should be at.

Installation was a breeze and is super user-friendly. I live in a cold climate and love the convenience of just grabbing my phone to check on our hot tub anytime, day or night. I also use the app to control the lights and jets before we head outside to soak. It’s really handy to have this control. I highly recommend the app and subscription service!

### ***-- "Good app, yearly fee is crazy"
This seems like a great app so I can manage things when not at the house but the fact you are required to pay a yearly fee to have cellular communicate is crazy.   I live in an area where cell is not good and we cannot get the tub to connect or stay connected.  I was not told that it can also hook to WiFi which I have fiber and it works great but this is suppose to be for “back up” they say.  So I have to pay a yearly fee for a cell connection that does not work, I have WiFi available that there is no fee that the company is paying for but they say you have to have the cell plan.  Also was told the first year was free but turns out only 6 months. 
Need to have a cell version and a WiFi version.  I’m ok with paying some fee but not to pay for something I cannot connect to. 
Most likely will not renew and have to find another way to manage tub.

Brand new Jacuzzi swim spa. This app does not work at all. It either says that communication with the server took too long, or that you need to log out and log back in. Either way, a totally useless app. I have a year-long free subscription, I can’t imagine ever paying any money to use this app. It is absolutely useless.

The app is well laid out and easy to use.  It’s also generally reliable.  Does what it needs to do.  Would be 5 stars for me except they seemingly have dropped Siri Shortcuts for who knows what reason.  This takes very convenient functionality away especially when your submerged in water and you have your watch very helpful.  Can you please bring it back?

This app was great when I first got it and was on the free introductory membership. Since I paid for a long term membership it has been terrible. The connection times out or reports an error. I have to logout and log back in or delete the app and reinstall to get anything to work. That’s just a short term fix and only works for a few minutes before you have to do it all over again. Very disappointed in the current experience for the $$$.

Hadn’t paid attention to it all summer, but what happened to Apple Watch support?  Can’t bring the iPhone into the run to control things, but I was able to use Apple Watch. 
Now that it’s hot tub season again, wondering why Apple Watch support was removed from the app?!?

The app is ok in general. However, I just went to open the app on my Apple Watch and it is gone and the App Store listing no longer shows one is available.

After speaking with customer service a few times I am told the location of my tub is in between cell towers and the signal on both towers is very weak. I am told there is an internet version in development but no timetable for release. Can’t rely on the connection now but it is exciting on the rare occasion the app connects to the tub!

I’m wondering why I spent the extra money for a “Smart” Tub. Not so smart.  I am unable to set the time. It wont’t stick. I cannot change the filtering schedule. It’s set for am start time and I want to change it to pm. I try to change it to pm and it won’t change. The lights associated with whether the pumps are running are not accurate. Light is on but pump is not running. And vice versa.  Very underwhelmed. At the moment it is pretty useless. Tech said they are trying to fix the bugs. I hope so!

They pushed 2 updates this week. As a result (a) I’ve lost my Apple Watch app, (b) lost all of my automations, (c) the app appearance on my phone is distorted, and, not to be overlooked, (d) can’t adjust the temp on the tub via the app any more. Not a great look for a paid subscription. Why did you have to f with it?  Please fix this ASAP

### ***-- "Good Attempt, But Mediocre Execution"
I have only had my hot tub about a month. The SmartTub app connectivity was flaky under the v6.6.6 app - with frequent server connection issues.

I’ve noticed those connectivity issues are eliminated for me in app v6.6.7.  However, now the “Energy Usage” feature is broken and only shows “0” for daily and monthly history detail. Was hopeful the app could at least estimate energy usage - seems like a simple thing to track.

My other issue is that I cannot adjust the exterior light brightness via the app. Every time I try the app shuts the lights off and I have to reset them from the physical control panel on the hot tub. Pretty annoying…

Overall, SmartTub seems like a decent set of intended features that don’t quite work properly. Maybe they’ll fix the bugs eventually…but I’m not holding my breath.

I’m glad the SmartTub feature was a free add-on through my dealer. I’d be severely disappointed if I had paid for the SmartTub functionality.

The forced hardware LTE upgrade doesn’t support Wi-Fi just like the predecessor 3G hardware didn’t. It’s clear it a bunch of boomers are on the design team. Major, major fail. Do better or enjoy getting left behind. It’s 2023!

I so happy to jacuzzi smart spa tub.I use this app every day in my house.I love being able to change my tub temperature turn on off the jets as well as the lights remotely .It has definitely saved me a lot of time and it super convenient.I highly recommend my other friends and relatives.
