I’m just can’t stop listening to the old music like every Time I go on that app it makes my day better!
This app is great, but it needs more console music like GameCube, PlayStation 2, arcade, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo WiiU, and Nintendo Switch. And needs more custom music from other consoles like Super Smash Bros Remix, many more custom nes, snes, n64, GameCube, every console from past to present like Super Mario 64 Star Road, Super Smash Bros Remix, etc. Also needs nes, snes, sega genesis prototype music like Super Mario Kart (April 1992 beta, May 1992 beta, July 1992 beta, and the beta version of Super Mario Kart), Street Fighter II Turbo for Sega Genesis, etc. and also needs an option to change the emulator style of the music between snes9x or zsnes.
Good overall but constantly crashes, fix this issue and I’ll make it 4 stars, also why can’t I get the n64 music without purchasing, I know it says o.oo $ but that’s kind of suspect and sketchy.
I’ve used this daily for years now. Needs to be closed and reopened from time to time, but I have no other issues with it. Thank you for this!

Hey Gen-x retro gamer! Sometimes you don't want to play old games but DO want to listen to those golden old earworms from your favorite N64 heyday. This app is for you! The UI is a little clunky in 2024 but it does the job of letting me find and listen to console midi-style bangers from the 80s to 2000s. Even though it says SNES, it allows you to peruse console music from MSX, NDS, Sega consoles, Game Boy, N64 and even Playstation (midi stuff only). The app has its own browser and database to download the old times. It's been my iOS go-to for YEARS and it still works great.
One problem why do I have to pay
I got this app out of the frustration that Nintendo doesn’t release this music on Spotify, and I wasn’t disappointed. This app is great-you don’t need great WiFi to play music, it includes pretty much every single song on the provided systems (even the annoying movie-based ones) and you get to select the cover photo for a certain game’s songs. However, now I need to list the downfalls of SNES Music. 1.) It ain’t pretty The app doesn’t look like a music app. It looks like an early 2010’s email app. Just some updated graphics would be nice, please! 2.) *STATIC* Why (I mean WHY) are some of the game’s soundtracks just static or just nonexistent?! You’re telling me I can’t listen to Mario Vs. Donkey Kong music because the file won’t work? Oi oi oi… 3.) No GameCube? PS2? Xbox? Update your systems! The most recent console soundtracks I can listen to are DS ones? (I have nothing against the DS. I own a DS lite and am loving it, but that doesn’t mean the audio sounds amazing.) And finally… 4.) Title Lost Most DS song titles are just file names! I need to listen to every single song to find one because I can’t use the titles, and that kinda stinks. And don’t even get me started on the NES and the GB titles. “What would you like to listen to? Song 0? Or Song 13? How about Song 7?” I could use some titles instead of just numbering them! Whoo… sorry to rant. Anyway, don’t let me stop you from getting the app. It’s truly an underrated app, just with some inconveniences. This is literally my dream app, so thanks to the developer. Also… FIX PLS!
I love this app for all my retro tune streaming needs! Download it while you can tho, seems like the kind of thing Nintendo would take down in a heartbeat.
It’s a great app and all but I wish there were more game systems like for example the Nintendo Switch and stuff was easier to find I don’t want to spend 2 minutes searching for the music.
