Love this app, great community of people. I just wish people would stop crediting God for their recovery and basically everything else that happens to them… it disempowers themselves and hands their own strength and resolve to a big man in the sky.
Everyone has their own journey to getting clean and sober and different things work for different people. Having said that I find Sober Grid really helpful. The community is really nice and supportive and you know you are not alone with your struggles. It helps as a distraction by chatting to others when you need it most. It’s like having an AA meeting in your pocket. I think it’s a great app.

If you want a group to support and encourage as you navigate your journey to a new way of living, then Sober Grid is it. Checking in every day, reading and contemplating a daily reflection, making and finding things to be grateful for has given me mindfulness mixed with purpose and success. AA is not for everyone but Sober Grid is a wonderful network to be while you come to terms with your own accountability.
Sober Grid provides a place for people with similar demons to share, contribute, provide advice or just celebrate sobriety with no judgement at all. Whether you’re in crisis or someone else crisis, you can count on sober gridders to help you out of any funk.

The condition, illness of addiction or whatever you’d like to label it is the worst! If I can’t get to a meeting, or if I’m feeling triggered, or overwhelmed- I can reach out to Gridders who understand, and help me get through those moments to stay on the right path -love it
This a great platform to find a network of support whilst in recovery. I use it to connect and bond with other people that get me. The opposite of addiction is connection and bonding 💕
