They having a complicated refund policy to deceive users. Had a booking (Rm 34) and unable to attend it, decided to cancel 50 mins earlier to see if there is any possibilities for a refund but ended up in extra charges (50% = RM 17) from my card. There are simply charging an extra cancellation fee if you press the “Cancel booking” button. And if I’d let the booking completed automatically without doing anything I would have at least saved Rm 17. The logic behind this is out of the world. I wont be using their platforms anymore since i have several unpleasant experience with them as wrll. -- AdLJC, 2024-11-11 ### *---- "Socar is a scam app" When I first downloaded this app a year ago I first had the excitement as it seemed like a very convenient app to download, however through two years of downloading this app I realize it has slowly came to become a scam of an app so let me break it down to you below this app has become the biggest scam for me first I like to mention that yes they show the attraction of all these different cars that you can get however, the cars that you get from what is in the picture is never exactly the same and it's always leaving with the stench and there's hardly any maintenance done being done to the car secondly the car customer service is the worst ever experience as there is no available contact number that you can contact if doing an emergency you have a stupid AI app that does not is not responsive and will take you. Probably ages for you to figure out until you're able to meet the live agents as well as the live agents can be sometimes rude and unresponsive, and very unhelpful to your issues and problems is so ridiculous and I would say borderline legal because of them being able to charge you without you noticing or charging it straight away. I guess this is a way for them to make more money. I haven't counted a time where I have been wrongfully charged 300 ringgit for a fine however I've emailed them about this and even then even they said that was wrongfully done fine which I feel like it was very careless and ridiculous. I've been charged 100 for low fuel return however I've left them with at least 30% fuel left which I feel 100 ringgit to for fuel return is so damn hash which I think is a scam. so I hope anyone in the future reading this please do not buy into this scam. the app is doesn't have the right infrastructure to work with customer service and you'll be charged unnecessarily so please think before you download this app. If you value your money, please do not download this app. -- Leemz 26, 2024-11-10 ### *---- "Fuel reimbursement" This is my 2nd time fuel got rejected by a nonsense reason !
