## SocialFocus Description
Hide distractions on websites such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, LinkedIn, Gmail and take back control of your attention!

While we acknowledge the distracting and engrossing nature of these sites, completely blocking them is not always feasible due to the valuable content they offer.

This Safari extension allows you to selectively hide attention-grabbing components on each site. For instance, on YouTube, you have the option to conceal recommended videos, shorts, comments, and more. Similarly, on Facebook and Instagram, you can hide the feed, reels, stories, and other elements. The same goes for each supported site.

Furthermore, SocialFocus offers an array of supplementary features, including Startup Settings, Import / Export and more.

Users who want to support the development of the project can additionally subscribe to the PRO version. The PRO version will give access to some additional features that are not available in the standard version, such as hotkey configuration, settings synchronization and some others. 

NOTE: This extension does NOT work with the apps, it works only for websites while using the Safari browser.

I love this app, and it is amazing for stopping myself from going on instagram reels. However I would love a browser extension for TikTok, because I use it’s search bar to find videos on specific books I’m reading to feel inspired, but the for you page is really distracting and sometimes things can pop up on it that are really upsetting.

Great app. I tried blocking Reddit but found that when I searched for a question on Google, my answers often lay within Reddit, which meant that I either had to search elsewhere, or turn off my content blocker, opening up the avenue of mindless consumption. 

This app lets me keep feeds and the addictive parts blocked, but still let me access posts that are shared with my on iMessage, or found via Google. 

Phone is now just as useful, but much less addictive. Yes I can quickly delete this app or disable the extension if I really wanted to, but it still gives me a pause - a buffer of sorts to evaluate whether that’s a decision I want to do or my dopamine addicted mind wants. 

No complaints. Thank you for making this.

The premise of this is very useful for people like myself who do not like having short, quick content videos invading everyone social media website possible, but I’ve noticed some issues, Firstly I don’t know if I missed this or something but this only works through searching said social media through a safari e.g: Search up Youtube on Safari ——> use it through there NOT the YouTube app itself. 

Also if I try and remove YouTube shorts from YouTube, although yes it removes it from the initial home page, you click on a video and then you scroll down to see another row of Shorts, this only happens around about 50% of the time but it’s still annoying to have to see that after I pressed block YouTube Shorts. 

Not happy with my purchase.

Nice app and happy to pay for its service. Was thinking about making an app like this myself which actually removes the addictive elements of a webpage but this does precisely that. Excellent work, to try and stop the frankly criminal theft of peoples time through addictive, mind numbing trends.
