Great for professional and amateur musicians alike, SongBook manages your song collections with lyrics and chords. Tap on any chord name to see its variants. Comes with comprehensive, extensible chord libraries for many instruments like guitar, ukulele, banjo and piano. 

Tons of features: transpose songs, auto-zoom, auto-scrolling, metronome, external display, pedal support, MIDI and much more. 

Manage big song collections: sort songs in categories, filter by tags, or define playlists (sets) for performances. 

Based on the popular chordpro format, also supports tab/crd files and PDFs. Support for right-to-left languages.

Fully offline capable, no Internet connection required. Optional cloud sync and Play Together feature.

Jeg har brukt Onsong i mange år, men etter at de gikk over til abonnementsmodell har jeg testet flere lignende apper og landet på denne.

Noen fine funksjoner:
1 «Auto zoom» som automatisk fyller iPadens skjerm (så man slipper å lure på om det er noe mer nederst på skjermen)
2 Synkronisering av alle låtene mot en mappe i iCloud (så man slipper å rote med flere versjoner av samme sang)
3 Egen Mac-app (Windows også) som er fin til å redigere sangene og skrive inn nye. Den er synkronisert mot samme iCloud mappe, sånn at endringer kommer automatisk på iPad-en (koster kr 229)
4 Fjernkontroll av andre iPad-er virker fint og enkelt (bruker Page Flip)
5 Innbygget funksjon for å finne sanger på internett (i chordpro format). Selvsagt varierende kvalitet på innhold fra internett, men da kan man redigere og rette opp
6 Hadde et spørsmål til utvikleren og fikk svar på under et døgn.

Ligger et par negative omtaler her som du kan se bort fra. En har ikke skjønt hva det dreier seg om, og den andre mener det er feil å finne låter på internett.

A very good chordpro reader and editor. No more paper, and no more hassel trying to transpose from a key to another.
Only one tiny little shortcoming: it should be able to automatically sync when new songs in a readable format is added to dropbox from another device. For now, you have to access the song via dropbox, then load the song from there, and save it to a category in Songbook to import it. When added, it should be available on all devices connected to that particular directory. But over all, it's good value for money.

Er du spællmainn med perm er dette en revolusjon!
Alle låter ligger i dropbox som chopro. Hele bandet har tilgang. Endringer blir distribuert umiddelbart til alle.
Du setter lett opp settlister.
Og det går jaggumæ an å synke hele bandet over wlan på spælling også, sånn at bare bændsjefen (mæ) behøver å bla te neste låt. 
Appen er genial, for enkelte er denne eneste grunn til å kjøpe surfebrett. Presset er på organisten nå, han sliter med å finne låtene fort nok i permen ja!

This just works beautifully and seemlessly syncs your ChordPro files between Mac, PC, iPad and iPhone through Dropbox. Never worry that your files will vanish in the warp hole of poor sync software.

The developer is also very open and responsive when you suggest improvements, which really helps all of us users.
