## SongCapsule Description
SongCapsule is an app to rediscover your music library and works like your personal DJ. It’s available on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro with a single purchase.

Using SongCapsule is super easy: all you need to do is connect the app to your music library — it supports Apple Music, iTunes Match, or local synced songs in your device. SongCapsule will locally scan your songs and automatically create mixes and playlists for you based on your favorite artists, genres, and even decades.

With Magic DJ, you can create mixes of artists and genres with different algorithms, like playing more of your top songs or rediscovering hidden gems in your music library. It’s like a shuffle mode — but more intelligent and tailored just for you.

SongCapsule will learn and send a #tbt notification every week to remember you of songs you once loved, but haven’t played for a while. There’s also a special playlist and widget with your forgotten songs.

Even when you change the settings the shuffle is no better than apple’s, the “never played” playlist is full of songs I’ve played multiple times. Same with the forgotten songs playlist. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to make a better shuffle option

I had high hopes for this app but it doesn’t work any better than the Shuffle feature in Apple Music with my Library.    I have 4000 songs there but this app insists on playing the same 15-20 titles each time I start it up.   I thought it was supposed to be better at picking songs you had not listened to in a while to add to the shuffling but that is not the case.    I am very disappointed.

I expected to be able to dynamically play based in the user rating of songs.  Can’t believe it does t have a play loved, give you the ability to build playlist of 5stars it 4 &5 stars.   It does have some interesting features , but it also would be nice to be able to reset the play counter on songs Apple Music played every time I hooked up to the car based on it being alphabetically first.

“Magic Dj” I was thinking that maybe it actually mixes songs..? Like when its about to change maybe add some beats or words from the Next song???? But no.. 😂 $5 just for a boring shuffle instead adding some spice and actually make it sound like a DJ.. 💁🏻‍♂️ plain old shuffle.

I really enjoy this app and the playlists they give me, but I would really enjoy it if they added a feature that was sort of like the old iTunes Genius feature where it would make a playlist of songs you already have in addition to songs you don’t have in your library. Hopefully that comes in an update at some point but so far I do love this app.

The main function of this app doesn’t get me any better results than just hitting shuffle on my library. The smart curated playlist function is kinda neat but these are hardly better in terms of feeling like a cohesive listening experience. Just feels like shuffle but with some filters like “hasn’t been played for x time” or “belongs to x genre”

This app is frustratingly slow. The playlists and interface are great, but it runs SO SLOWLY. Every time I select a song, there’s at least 15 seconds of waiting for that song to play, even with all the songs already being downloaded to my phone. Because of this the app is sadly unusable.

I mean when you take paying $10/month for Apple Music into consideration, this is a good app to have since you’ll get more of your money’s worth. Bought it for my car.  Shows promise but lots of bugs.  App doesn’t crash but touching track just causes a screen response but no play.  Sometimes using apples generic app can be used to force play.      I get some very verbose droid message about some sort of CarPlay problem.  Never seen a single error message on anything other app so i guess they are doing something half right as the app doesn’t crash
