I have been using Sonos for years - the app has always been super laggy, unresponsive and slow. Got around it by just playing vinyl and setting up autoplay. That also has become troublesome and drops out regularly. Sonos solution is to reset your router regularly. Amazing sound quality but amazing that is is paired with such a useless app. It’s genuinely tedious and now considering going back to analogue and trying to forgot about the 000’s spent on this equipment.

Holy moly, this has been a waste of money. The sound bar is aesthetically nice, but every time I go to play music or change volume via the app, it is NEVER connected. What testing has been done, why does it continue to not show in the app… it is connected to the network because Google assistant works, yet the SONOS app does not pick it up. So very disappointing

After all the debacle of 2024 I stopped using the app for months (streaming directly from airplay which works 99% of the time flawlessly) thinking surely they would have ironed out the glitches. Nup! My Sonos system’s grown over 10 years & although I still regard it as some of the best bang for buck stereo I’ve ever owned, I find the latest iteration of the phone app frustratingly complex.   Arguably it’s age related but I still drive a car & tie my own shoelaces, so maybe designers should focus on “simple” rather than “clever”.

I love my Sonos hw and have been using it for 10 years or more. I have recommended and setup many friends and family on Sonos. But the new Sw update has turned it into a slow and horrible experience. To the point it’s embarrassing using this system in front of others now. I’ve waited patiently for updates to give the issues but it’s still pathetically bad. It’s a complete mess and I no longer recommend anyone to get into this ecosystem. Shame on you Sonos for destroying what was the best wireless system. Sad

I’ve had Sonos systems for years. Initially was an ardent promoter because of how good it was. But it’s so unreliable now with sound dropping out from various speakers at different times and even volume controls crazily unreliable. I want to love it once more but I’m losing patience.
