The app apparently chooses one of 6 pre-defined profiles for the left and right HA based on the results of the hearing test in each ear. The app then provides adjustments for sound balance, volume and tone. There is no way to know which profile has been selected for each ear or to adjust the applied profile to improve speech understanding in noisy environments. I would suggest incorporating the ability to apply speech understanding adjustments to the HA’s by the user once they have been set up by the app. Speech understanding in noisy environments is probably the number 1 complaint from hard of hearing people. I’ve tried the Apple Airpod-2 hearing app and it performs much better for speech, conversation and television with airpods than the Sony app with my CRE-C20’s. -- Owyhee1, 2024-11-30 ### *---- "Battery life" Right ear will not hold charge. I consider that a major flaw and don’t understand why Sony can’t figure that out. It was relatively easy to initially set up the hearing aides. I can’t give a review of the sound quality yet. Initially it’s very tinny. I haven’t set up an appointment with the audiologist yet but plan to in hopes of fine tuning the sound. I still have Miracle Ear Hearing Aid for about six years and the Tinnitus masking isn’t working very well that’s why I ordered the CRE-C20 hearing aids. There isn’t any streaming music through these hearing aids. You're not locking people out of Candy Crush. You're preventing people from hearing properly so you can collect data?
