There is a fluke in all my sony headphones that allowes them to access voice control on ios phones even when voice control and buttons have been deactivated in settings. This resaultes in the headphones making random calls if you turn on your side and fall alseep with them on, or if you are at the gym and have them around your neck. It practiacally makes them useless as you dont want to risk calling random peaople at all hours, especially your professional contacts.

It is incredibly annying that every time there is an update the ‘Speak to chat’ function is turned on again.

settings get toggled randomly, volume gets set to zero out of the blue, app fails to connect to the headset frequently. I don’t understand how an application could be so bad.

Nice sound, but not an intuitive experience. Lousy design for an easy control.

It’s very much like training a dachshund. Very difficult, help options are pointless, and indicates erroneous or wrong data.

Nothing more frustrating than unboxing your new XM5 headphones and the app keeps on crashing. SONY, please fix this issue with the XM5 headphones as the connectivity and app is nothing new.

Everytime I try to use it with my xm4’s it crashes. Haven’t been able to change settings on my headphones for a long time.

The app interface has become increasingly cluttered, my settings disappeared one day, the app takes 30 seconds to register that my device is connected to my headphones and on the first app launch after i connect my headphones the app does not even recommend them. I genuinely don’t understand how the software experience was perfect when i first bought my headphones and now it’s a headache. I’ve never used a product that started out perfectly and got significantly worse due to updates. I’m now genuinely considering bose headphones or apple headphones due to an increasingly horrible experience with Sony.
