Soundmondo

I simply connected my iPad via cable to my Yamaha CP 88 stage piano, opened the app and straightaway was able to play the sounds within the app through my keyboard. Some awesome sounds that others have created on their Yamaha pianos. You can even download those sounds into your own keyboard for future use.

Log in failed whenever I try to log in on the app. Log in works fine in Safari. Forums show others have this issue from June last year with a response from Yamaha saying please be patient but still no fix.

I can’t seem to sign in on iPhone app, no problem signing in on safari but this dose not help when I’m connecting on iPhone. I just get failed login check username and password.

Sign-up is messy and complicated. Chrome on iOS does not allow midi sync, but the soundmondo app doesn’t allow proper browsing of the sounds available online.

So difficult to reset your password and why do you still have so much T&C that nobody reads or cares about to go through. No type in search for your country, so you have to see every country especially if you live in the UK or USA ! Get a professional team to sort this time consuming rubbish out Yamaha!

It’s great to get access to artist signature sounds like Matt Johnson’s but after a few minutes the app crashes and the only way to get it back to work is uninstalling and reinstalling (loosing all your favourite sounds). It requires immediate attention, Yamaha! Otherwise it’s just a huge missed opportunity!

Yamaha have excelled in the design of SOUNDMONDO. I love it and have had no problems. Use it with my Reface CP… so much more I can get out of the keyboard now!

I passed the test! Many people (like me) could not login to Soundmondo after creating an account. Here is what I did to fix it: 1. Sign up either in-app or at yamahasynth.com 2. Confirm your e-mail address via the confirmation in your inbox. 3. Wait 10-15 minutes. 4. Using Chrome browser (I used a mobile device), Sign in to any area at yamahasynth.com (parent site), this will confirm your credentials and activate your account (I also made a small edit to my details and saved it, in case this helps). 5. Return to Soundmondo app and sign in (you should succeed now!) Good luck! (It shouldn’t be this difficult Yamaha… they must be making plenty of profits elsewhere).

Downloaded the app and created an account, verified my email address but cannot sign in to my account via the app - keeps telling me to confirm my username and password. Complete waste of time, will be deleting the app.

Set up account and got email to confirm. Tried to login to app. Nope! You haven’t got an account.
