Import and start your favorite Ren'Py visual novels directly in Spark. Once added, your titles are ready to launch with a tap, so you can focus on reading and playing instead of manual setup.

Tailored Compatibility for Each Novel
Choose from multiple Ren'Py engine versions to match your novel and improve stability:
8.x: 8.5.2, 8.5.0, 8.4.1, 8.3.7, 8.3.4, 8.2.3, 8.1.3, 8.0.3

I sought this app out when I learned one of my favorite visual novels was ported to android but not iOS. I am so excited to be able to read VN’s on the go now! The app is able to scale the text size as well. On principal the only thing I don’t love is the AI art used on the application itself LOL. But my sincere thanks to the developer for creating this solution for iOS folks like me.

This is a great tool for reading visual novels on iPhone and iPad. Save management and game importing is pretty straight forward. Just wish I could use this tool on macOS as well. I feel it would make for better save management and cross-platform syncing would be great as well. Perhaps use iCloud to sync the saves across devices.

Loving being able to read my visual novels on my phone now, it really is a great app with a bunch of features, including save managing which you can’t normally do if you go through the weird way of getting VNs on your phone normally. My only hope is that in the future you don’t have to close and reopen the app every time you quit a VN, and possibly better accuracy on the detected renpy version. If you’re on a version too low for a VN built on a newer version it can cause issues saving!

Awesome Ren’Py player! No crashes or problems. Only thing that doesn’t make sense to me is that spark seems to auto save games, but if I go to the place where Spark displays those saves, there is no load button. So I can’t understand what is the purpose of those auto saves if they can’t be loaded.

If I could suggest features, I’d love to have a editable profanity filter, that could bleep words in the game dialogs, with wildcards to catch even bad words that are misspelled. And a button to hide dialog and menus even on games that don’t have a “hide” button built in. And the option to change the game name (the name that Spark thinks is the name of the game, cuz it isn’t always correct), and the option to set thumbnail images for each game.  These features would be awesome.

it was recommended to me by a friend, i was hesitant at first of buying it but my friend assured me that it would surprise me and it did!
The games worked flawlessly
I thought i would encounter bugs or some lagging within the games but it was totally not the case, the games were very smooth and the ability to edit the saves or backup them and also have access to the game files is something we dont see usually

I am so thankful that there’s finally an app for RenPy. I’ve been using one on android and hoping for an app to run visual novels for iOS for quite some time. It’s more a want than a need, but it would be great if there’s a way to have some way to use function keys I like to use F3 and change the performance from PowerSave to performance. Currently the only way I could do that is to connect a Bluetooth keyboard. Other than that. I love the app. Keep up the great work!!!
