Spark - Ren'Py Novels

I was reading the other reviews saying it worked and thought of trying it and let me say I was wowed it worked just great so I haven’t had any problems I would recommend it in to play ren’Py games on your phone

So far first novel I tried plays as expected.

Doesn’t work well, wanted to read a novel and wouldn’t open the file, tried with serval others and still didn’t work

Loving being able to read my visual novels on my phone now, it really is a great app with a bunch of features, including save managing which you can’t normally do if you go through the weird way of getting VNs on your phone normally. My only hope is that in the future you don’t have to close and reopen the app every time you quit a VN, and possibly better accuracy on the detected renpy version. If you’re on a version too low for a VN built on a newer version it can cause issues saving!

Amazing app! I love to use it to play visual novels and it works amazingly! I have always wanted to play renpy on mobile but could never figure out how but now I can play it! This app is 10/10 5 stars this is completely worth it!:D

Awesome Ren’Py player! No crashes or problems. Only thing that doesn’t make sense to me is that spark seems to auto save games, but if I go to the place where Spark displays those saves, there is no load button. So I can’t understand what is the purpose of those auto saves if they can’t be loaded. If I could suggest features, I’d love to have a editable profanity filter, that could bleep words in the game dialogs, with wildcards to catch even bad words that are misspelled. And a button to hide dialog and menus even on games that don’t have a “hide” button built in. And the option to change the game name (the name that Spark thinks is the name of the game, cuz it isn’t always correct), and the option to set thumbnail images for each game. These features would be awesome.

The dev is engaged with his users, rolls out constantly nice updates. Some of the best compatibility I’ve ever seen and has made enjoying RenPy so much better. Even mouse and keyboard shortcuts work if you have a Magic Keyboard or something similar.

I was so surprised to find out my iPhone was capable of emulating Android ports of visual novels!! I’m able to run VNs I’ve always wanted to play, like Echo and Adastra but without an Android or PC, literally a dream come true

it was recommended to me by a friend, i was hesitant at first of buying it but my friend assured me that it would surprise me and it did! The games worked flawlessly I thought i would encounter bugs or some lagging within the games but it was totally not the case, the games were very smooth and the ability to edit the saves or backup them and also have access to the game files is something we dont see usually Greatjob on such a great app👍👍🔥🔥
