I bought a card from dollar general and when I opened the pack and tried to register it you have to have your social security number on the card and you have to be 18+ and for everyone who is 18+ I have only seen negative reviews on it about how people can not get there money.I’ve been googling ways to see if I can get my money back because I was sold a 18+ card while I am a minor and I came across a comment that said you could use the card with the funds on it until they run out online or in person so I tried it on Amazon and the Xbox store neither worked. Customer service does not even. I just want my money back

I purchased a debit card today at Dollar General. I got home, followed the steps on the card regarding the registration steps. I filled out my information, but when I click “complete” (after agreeing to their terms), the website/app just keeps loading, nothing happens after that. I tried it on I pad, iPhone, MacBook, and a windows devise. I tried with mobile data and Wifi. I called the customer service and the automated message tells me my balance, which is accurate. However my money is being kept there while I cannot use it. I talked to somebody from the customer service and they told me that the card cannot be activated over phone, only website/app. I cannot use my own money to pay my bill. I am worrid this may be a scam.

I had bought a spendwell card to use while I waited to get a replacement card and it was the biggest mistake ever I now have 190 dollars sitting on that card that I can’t pull off because my account was denied for not reason I put all my info in correctly so I don’t know why it denied me. I then called customer service and they were no help saying that they don’t know why I was denied and that I can’t reapply. So now I can only use my card as credit and can’t even check my balance. Also if anyone from spendwell sees this don’t tell me to call customer service because they can’t even help anyone. I just want my money back on my actual card

Estoy súper molesta porque compré una tarjeta que se suponía me iba a servir para poner hacer compras en línea y recibir dinero, resultó que no solo batallé para activarla, si no que ahora me dicen que no puedo sacar mi dinero solo gastarlo, aparte el servicio al cliente está pésimo, la app vive fallando, se supone que puse un usuario y una contraseña y no me deja entrar, según la app no califique para algo cuando yo no solicité crédito solo una tarjeta para meter dinero y si lo recibo poder sacarlo y su servicio está pésimo, gracias por nada ahora tengo que gastar lo que añadí a la tarjeta porque no me deja ir a sacarlo.

I originally set up the account per the instructions on the card I bought for my daughter’s field trip. However, I wish there was a way to add that balance back to the account. Unless I’m missing it, I’m not seeing a way to add money without having to go to a store or directly deposit from the bank. This account was set up a week ago and still have not received my spendwell card for the main account. Other than that, I feel this app will really come in handy!
