Works very fine but…
Works very fine for sighthounds racing, except for a bug that sometimes doesn’t start the timing system although the sound correctly arrives to the iPad through an electric shotgun. I wait for help from the developer…

L'applicazione è molto bella , mi piacerebbe però poter visualizzare l'immagine direttamente su un computer !
Eccellente vale 1000 euro. L'unico problema è che non è omologato dalle federazioni. Ci vorrebbe un telecomando per non toccare l'ipad mentre cronometra e per abbinarlo alla pistola dello starter.
If you have a track team, get this app. I’ve been around tracks for fifty years. I’ve never seen anything else so affordable that’s even close. Works wonderfully. Every time.
This is not fully automatic timing and you should not be marketing it as such. Even the photos you are using as your examples are no where near the finish line. This is a joke and those that fall for it are nothing more then the jokers in a deck with no aces.
This is a great app, but I suggest a tweak which could make it even better. I suggest adding the record feature to include the start (actually just prior) along with a function to slide the start time to coincide with the initial movement of the runner. Currently, it’s either eyeballed or sound based, but either way determined by the operator’s finger tapping start. Post start, Operator would then rotate the camera to line up with the finish line. Once the sprint is completed, the sprint time differential would be calculated based on the adjusted beginning clock time when the runner began the start. What I love about this app is that it removes 50% of the variables by recording the end of the sprint. If you can similarly record the start as well, this would effectively replace many of the laser systems which are very expensive.
We use this for our home track meets. Started as the back up of the back up, then it became the back up, and now it is our main timing system and we use stopwatches as a back up. With a common start and such accuracy, I now cringe every time I see a team timing their meets with individual stopwatches. I have shared this with 3 other local schools who now use it at their meets as primary timing or a back up for their FAT system. No more scrambling to get high school kids or parents to time a meet!
Can’t get the app to function
Paid $5 just to have everything locked by another subscription. Video feature doesn’t even work properly since I can’t trim videos of myself this app is useless
This is a wonderful app that replaces inaccurate hand held timers. I hope that the interface and ease of use gets improved upon. The Mac version is buggy but the iPhone version works great. Please continue to improve. Love this for coaching track. Will try out in our track meets soon.
