However, now every character gets items on start up PLUS a bonus item which now makes object boxes useless. Character abilities also feel pointless now. What is the point of each character having unique abilities, if when you drop an item while your ability is active, another player can then pick up that item and use your ability??? This ties back into object boxes feeling obsolete because now no one strategizes to get them and instead everyone just kills each other to obtain their items AND their abilities. The addition of giving players additional lives in level that never had them before such as the final “Squid Game” level was not needed. Now the whole game feels like this strange, chaotic, brainless, free-for-all. Before this last redesign, this game was good, not great. The main issue is the time you have to spend to reach higher levels. Unless you win (must be 1st of 32 players) the secondary rewards are barely better than the $8k you get daily. My hopes of spending a little less time playing but still progressing were dashed when I first opened the game and went to collect my daily rewards (only $8k). Lots of changes to the menu screen and several character “updates” 🙄… Overall good layout changes but no changes to the amount the player receives daily (again, only $8k). However, the cost increase to purchase a Mystery Box (the cheapest item in the game) increased from $15k to $50k. To say the least, it’s an excessive increase for a game that isn’t pay to play. The now varying costs for fewer choices of random character tokens is annoying but tolerable compared to the cost increases. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. YOU HAVE BETTER GAMES TO PLAY OR THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR TIME.
