I came to use their account but disappointed to know they ripped off in fees, Fx compared to other brokers. I’ll sell my stocks and will move to another broker.

Stake seems like a good platform to access both AUS & US markets. However the app and online platform tends to have issues with loading your portfolio and trading……even if you’re paying for Blacked.

If these issues could be fixed it would be 5 stars! Because the App is very easy to use. However these technical issues have been too consistent and lost myself one too many trades, I will be moving my portfolio to another platform.

Paid the hefty fee for “instant deposit” and it was far from instant, and missed the opportunity which was the reason I paid the additional fee, when the funds eventually arrived I have to transfer straight back out and pay the FX fee again :(

I downloaded the app on my iPad and created an account. After setting up my account I downloaded the app on my iPhone. I tried logging in on my iPhone using my credentials and I get an error message saying “invalid login, please check your region”. 
This is frustrating as I have already set my region when I set up the account on my iPad. Please fix this error so I can use the app on all my devices.

Knowing realtime bid/ask is the fundamental right of an investor and this app can't even do that right!
I have witnessed many time that my orders are not executed when my selling price is lower that the current ask price and even when my selling price is same as the bid price, all this minutes after creating the order!

Really frustrating!

Last night I opened my STAKE account, primarily to invest in IVV (iShares S&P 500 Index Fund). After months of procrastination and agonising over which platform to choose, I’m glad I went with STAKE.

The sign up and verification process was super fast and efficient - only 15-20 mins from first clicking ‘join’ to having my account up & running. And within 12 hours of sign up (once ASX was open) I’d already made my first trade.

User Interface is super slick & easy to follow. Was also a bit of a thrill seeing the value of my portfolio go up & down in real time. I highly recommend for anyone seeking a simple, Aussie owned (CHESS sponsored) platform for trading in AU &/or US shares!
