I have tried this last stage of merging things more than 15 times and it always ended up into the bubble where requires the payment 💰💰💰💰 so yes, you can only move forward if you actually open your wallet just like all other pay to win games. very frustrating after all the efforts to combine the items to the last stage, and they will never allow us to do it..
