This is literally the coolest app ever

It does exactly what I want it to do for my astronomical studies. Definitely buy this if you are a person who loves our beautiful night skies! Helps me to find planets and moons and stars, for showing my friends, and when doing astrophotography.

Very detailed but the angle at which everything is is a bit inaccurate

One of the best star apps. Heaps of info to stars. Works great while holding your iPhone up to the sky. Zoom and discover made very easy and nice.

I was actually worried about buying this, because I have encountered several star maps that need to have connection to the internet. This one doesn't and I'm glad I bought it. Layout Easy, very easy to use. No messing around, you can choose from planetarium which shows you only the objects you can see in the sky from your location. Whole map shows you everything, even the objects that you can't see from your location, and 3D mode, zoom around in 3D space at the rate of a few lightyears per second. Rating: 5 Stars (No pun intended) Detail The description is not exaggerating, it is very detailed, it has thousands of stars, nebulae, galaxies and other deep sky objects, shows not only their name, but also their distance from earth and magnitude, both apparent and absolute, and their exact coordinates in the sky. You can also choose the detail of the map by selecting the magnitude so you don't have thousands of stars clogging up the screen. It also looks quite good in colour. Rating: 5 Stars Love it, absolutely love it, well worth the four dollars.

How come you have to see cartoons Astrological figures Drawings of people I want to see the sky, not garbage

A basic guide would be a great addition to this great app. Developers Website links go to a dead end so no way to see if there is a guide posted there.
