The iPhone app is fantastic, the Mac app is buggy
The Mac app breaks constantly. Also no shortcuts work inside – you can't submit or go back using your keyboard. With so much friction it's harder to reflect, not easier.

Nice design, not overwhelming at all. I usually have problems focusing and reflecting, but the app helps me manage these characteristics in a thoughtful way.
it is truly amazing. i oayed for a year membership and i cannot be hapier. i log in everyday and learn smth new about myself. i meditate, journal, read inspiring quotes and answer quetions i dont often get to think about. This app is incredibly helpfull and i truly hope more people to get it and help themselves
I have fallen in love with this app. It has become a habit of mine in the morning and in the evening to fill out the details of my day. My favourite part is when I have to express gratefulness - just adore it. Keep it up!
Hi, Been using the app for 3-4 days and I really like it, the design, the diverse options for exercises, the fact that it doesn’t take long... The only thing that’s stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that I would really like it to have Apple Pencil support for the journaling, so it can be handwritten, because I don’t enjoy typing on my iPad. I think handwriting is more mindful and I hope you’d develop in that direction :)
I've had this app for a while using on and off, as I needed/wanted to, and I think it's pretty great. I don't have any major complaints, the app is pretty personable and theres no bugs as far as I've seen. I think the minimalist aesthetic is quite cute and the app makes doing a silly little journal or mediation seem fun. I gave the app a 5 because I really love that it's making stoicism very accessible for newcomers and modernizing the practice.
I just wish there was an option to disable AI ads and suggestions for lifetime subscribers. It can be distracting and was the primary reason to purchase the lifetime option.
I’ve looove using this app. There’s so many well thought out layouts. Personally I am a web design/developer as well as a graphic designer. So I really appreciate all the work that has gone into the structure and design of the app. For example it has night mode so the screen is not super bright, clean design layout, user navigation is straightforward and not overwhelming. And not to mention the aesthetic part of it - the typography that was chosen, kerning and leading options if you want to tweak it more. It just looks incredibly clean and makes me want to actually journal. Which if I’m honest I hate journaling. It can make me feel emotionally tanked once I write out everything. And this app makes it so easy to do so. However my favorite feature and pretty much an answer to prayer is the new addition of the ‘Shield’. I was desperate trying to find a way to be less distracted since starting my own business and just feeling like I kept getting side track in my morning devos from my phone/apps. And then one morning I pop open this app to see this new feature which allows you to select which apps are blocked at general or custom times of the day. It kind of darkens the apps on your screen to help remind you not to click them and even if you did - it sends a pop up reminder that asks if the app is something you need at this time. Just honestly, brilliant. Sure, you can click to go to the app anyway. But you have 2 stops before you make that choice. And it has already helped on day one of the new feature. The do have a bunch of other features like meditation and what not. I haven’t gotten to use those as much. But I love the daily quotes and being able to lay things out the way I want. So great job to the whole team for all your hard work in making this app. You guys did something awesome for a lot of people. *update July 2024* My only negative feedback right now is the shield app blocker doesn’t always work if you need to still get to an app. If you set it to where you can ’open the app anyways’. Often times it still won’t open. Which is a huge pain when I need an app during the work day for my business. So I have to go to the app settings, turn off the blocked apps or reset the shield in the app settings and then get to the app. That’s generally the only bug and it has remained since they added the shield feature. I would absolutely love if this bug would be fixed. Because I genuinely love this feature. I’m not going to lower my rating ‘until someone fixes

I absolutely love this app and have recommended to almost everyone I know. It is such a great way to truly reflect on my day, with time feeling as though it’s moving faster and faster each day as I age (41), this app has allowed me and forced me to reflect on each day and understand and navigate my feelings, again. I learned and used journaling for about 5 years, during intense talk therapy. It was life changing. This app has pushed me to get back to that and when I tell you this has helped me to work on myself again and I must say, it’s doing a wonderful job. Keep it up! With every update it gets better and better! Much love 💚
