This app is terribly unreliable. When first released literally nothing worked. The app recently got to work at a basic level. No longer! Now refuses to allow me to reserve a book, all I get are error messages. My local library now tell me not to bother with the app, they’ve had so many complaints and they recommend using the desktop web version.

Following my review on 12 December detailing why the errors in the app meant it wasn’t able to be used, I reloaded the latest version and am happy to say they have been fixed. I can now use the app. However, there is one missing feature which needs to be implemented. When you reserve a book, a status of pending remains until the book is available to be collected. In the original application and on the website the “rank” shows where you are in the queue. This is important as it provides an indication of how long or how short the waiting time will be. Very important for all book club members.
