Useless time wasting app. Charging for recommendations when users are the ones doing the reviews info input work. The recommendations are useless, nobody wants 2⭐️ books, your algorithm is as good as walking blind into a bookstore. The ux is bad, for ex why dnfed books arent on read list or anywhere? Why seeing analytics on how many books I spent my time reviewing for your algorithm is a paid feature? Disrespect and grift.
Had to leave a review here to appreciate this app and its developers. It is SUCH A BIG IMPROVEMENT from Goodreads. I love it. The reading buddy feature changed the game for me and my long distance BFF. I love the statistics and just everything about the app. There is room for improvement and some bugs to fix but it really is something every reader needs.
the app is great, it’s mostly intuitive, tws are very useful if you do need them, tags are very useful and it does store a lot of editions of books. It’s easy to put in new books and editions. It’s also a small business (I believe also black owned, i’m not 100% sure) the only suggestion i might have is adding a dark mode, because the white feels brighter than most web interfaces
I love the way it tracks everything, but the app is confusing and slow to work with.
Can’t create an account. Just keeps kicking me back to the “log in” page. Deleting now. Waste of time.
This the 2nd year in a row that I can’t access the app or site. All the new people can just not established members. I gave them a second chance because they claimed they upgraded the servers. Clearly they were lying. Use any other app over the liars and con artists at storygraph.
Sadly after signing up for an account the app ceased to work. After uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times it never successfully loaded
Just a plain gray screen on every single tab.
Not sure if it’s the influx of new people on the app, but the app took forever to load, after I entered all the information to create a new account, it returned to the same screen so I had no idea if the account was created. But the lag, my goodness. Home Screen wouldn’t load, it was impossible to navigate. Installed and uninstalled in less than a day.
I’ve heard great things about this app but I’m not impressed. There is potential but a lot needs to be fixed, like the speed. I can’t get anything to load properly and it’s super glitchy. It also doesn’t link with my kindle. The aesthetic is a bit strange too and difficult to navigate. I’ll stick with Goodreads for now and check back on StoryGraph in a year or so.
