Forced sign up, no thanks
Forced sign up in 2024 is high tier garbage. No thanks. Let me at least *try* the app before you weasel data out of me. Do better. No good excuse for forced data collection in these days.

For some reason in the last couple of days it takes ages to load in, and then it doesn’t do anything.. is it a bug or what is going on?
Love this app. Please add a notification feature so my phone alerts me there is a notification in the app.
I love StoryGraph! Not only is it easier to navigate, and responds quicker than Goodreads, it gives you soooo much more, including delicious data! If you’re a data nerd then you’ll LOVE this app! The stats at the end of each year is incredible and gives info on things you wouldn’t even think about, such as mood maps, comparable months and how many new authors you read for the year. You can either enter challenges or create your own with the additional comfort of making them private or public. Plus, if there is an edition of a book that isn’t on SG, you can manually input it with zero complications, effort or lag. Honestly, it’s such a smoothly run app and only fuels my obsession for books. Oh, and did I mention that they include giveaways for countries OTHER THAN THE US?! Yup! 😋🤩
StoryGraph is the best tracking app I’ve found so far - for the most part, it’s really simple to use, and it’s very easy to find books, update your progress, and keep track of your goals. The only downside is that adding a rating is a really lengthy progress, as it’s part of the review page. Hopefully in the future, this will be made one-touch so you can add a rating easily once you’ve finished the book
Love this app! Very intuitive! The stats are amazing to review and look at. Much better than any other similar app out there.
I really like StoryGraph but the app itself is so buggy. It can only save about one update per day so I frequently lose track of my progress. I usually have to repeat my actions on the app in order to get it to actually save. For instance, this morning I’ve had to add the same book to my ‘currently reading’ list twice because it didn’t work the first time. I then had to add my progress twice for the same reason. This or similar happens every single time I use the app. I also frequently get kicked out of the app. If it wasn’t for the infographics that StoryGraph offers and it’s better reviewing options, I would have given up and gone back to Goodreads by now.
I love using Storygraph to track my shelves, my wishlist, how much I’ve read in a year, and so much more. The data visualisation is really sweet and super insightful too!
I like the idea of it and I like reading the AI summary of who books would be good for. But I’ve logged two books yet when I go to the reading stats for that month it shows that I’ve read 0 books so I can’t actually see any of these stats
I switched from goodreads and have been using The storygraph for a few years now. The recommendations are spot on, easy to use and lots of new features constantly being added! I highly recommend it!
