Really disappointed with the new update restricts higher speeds. I used to listen the books with 2.2x or 2.5x but can’t do it now. Max limit is 2x without any sensible reason. I ll consider cancel my membership and look for another one.
I used to love this app, and listened to the occasional book at a higher speed (2.5 or above). I don’t like to DNF books so being able to do so was super useful when I wasn’t really enjoying the story. Unfortunately, after the update the maximum allowed speed is x2. Considering that their book collection isn’t even that impressive, I’ll probably be switching to a different service that allows me to listen at my desired speed.
Many of the books I am looking for are not available.When I tried to unsubscribe a bad surprise was that I can’t do that on the app, but I don’t remember my password and they don’t send it to my email. Usually I can unsubscribe from my iPhone where all the subscriptions are but nah… I will call my bank eventually to cancel the payment
Their free trial shows all the different languages you can access. After you purchase a plan you can only access a very limited number of languages. The only reason I purchased was to listen too books in Portuguese. Their customer support also doesn’t answer.
Horrible can’t even choose English language so it’s all Swedish
In general the app is good but when I try to pay for a subscription it says that it can’t be done through the app (doesn’t say we’re to apply for a subscription.

The worst feeling is when you subscribed for nothing . It’s not working and no one help you.
Oh, where do I even start with this Storytel app? It's a complete disappointment. Many books are missing, and when I asked for a refund within an hour of purchase, they refused, claiming their app is non-refundable. It's not user-friendly, lacks intelligent books, and leaves much to be desired. Save your time, money, and sanity and steer clear of this app. There are better options out there for book lovers.
