Why did the whole app turned French all of the sudden?

Strange.

Не могу подтвердить номер своего телефона из-за бага с отправкой СМС. Из-за этого не могу прочитать статью бесплатно, ради чего и качал приложение. Приложение не справляется со своей единственной целью 👎🏼

A bit dishonest

Was told I will be able to read the article for free after the app installed. After the app installed something like “article unlocked” message displayed but still not able to read (need to pay). Disappointing. Otherwise good service.

Great content with awful nagging app

So many great authors on substack. Too bad the app developers have chosen to make it a giant tool for annoying email spam notifications OR nag you constantly in the app for notifications. I don’t want my attention stolen and diverted like this - respect that. Stop popping up requesting I turn on notifications. It’s gross and annoying and there’s no way to turn it off. It’s completely antithetical to what they preach as a business.

Substack still freezes when…

When adding a new subscription, this app freezes on iPhone, necessitating offloading and reinstalling every time.

Up to date, honest news

With so much censorship of digital media, it’s nice to know I can get my news from an honest source. Thank you for your time.

Feed

I don’t like how the feed doesn’t show new stories within hours. They’re days old news.
