Second time this happened want send money my business account balance disappeared
Online support unhelpful and a little condescending.
It’s been a week and still my profile is not verified. I asked several times what is the issue. No reply, no customer service. Send the details twice , but no reply. Still can’t get to my own money which they have on the account. I have no access to that account. Horrible company where no none cares about the customer. Be aware of their practices. At the first contact a guy offered me to transfer money on my behalf if o gave him access and my bank details including card details! Scammy and shady company.
Used the app to sell snacks at the concert’s friend, it’s been over a week and still waiting to get paid, keep saying they are doing security checks, cannot talk to anyone and the chat is always busy. I will never use it again 😡
Had this in a new shop since July and abandoned the card readers because of too many cancelled transactions. Tech support didn’t help at all. Switched to the mobile app which is ‘better’ but we still can’t enable cash payments so have contract another way. Again tech support say this isn’t a known issue, but we can’t switch the toggle button to enable cash payments. 🤷🏼♂️ Considering a switch to Zettle for the new year. Hear good things about that.

cancelled my business account without informing me. The app is terrible and is based on AI. It is so difficult to speak to a human being so you get no actual answer to an issue that you might have that can’t be resolved on an FAQ. I was told I would need to have a business account that had the exact same name if I was going to get my money out which I did not have, I got no reply from any email sent to customer service on boarding anything like that at all, when I phoned customer service, I was told they would raise a ticket with the relevant people, but I never received an email again. I’m currently waiting for the ombudsman to attempt to get my money back. They made it so easy to sign up but it’s so difficult to get your money. In conclusion avoid avoid avoid there are much better options.
Been waiting to be verified for over 7 weeks now (app says it’ll only take a few days). Now have hundreds in the account that i don’t have access to. went on hold for 45 minutes just for someone to tell me to wait and it’ll take some time
Not working
Using the card machine to sell products is easy but withdrawing funds from the SumUp account not so easy, SumUp stop sending verification codes that enable you to withdraw money, to me that’s them trying to hold onto the money or the App is rubbish.
