Sygic GPS Truck & Caravan

I purchased the premium lifetime package but when I try to use it with CarPlay I won’t load past a message saying to finish setting up on my device first. I have put in a support request but heard nothing back. It’s a pity as it works well with the features for caravan but useless if you can’t have CarPlay. I guess like others I will have to try to get a refund. Update: I have logged a ticket and followed up 3 times. I strongly suggest you do not buy as they have not even responded to my ticket beyond an automated response.

Would be Fitbit despite advertising that says it works on Apple play it doesn’t- it would be good if it did.

This is a good app for directions incorporating my caravan dimensions and reduced speed limit. It wasn’t clear, but I had to purchase an additional Premium for CarPlay via the European website. It’s not as intuitive as the Sygic Car app.

I have a motorhome and want CarPlay. Now the Car version of Sygic has a Camper plug in does that make it the same as this Motorhome/Caravan version? The strange mix of lifetime and annual licences and also multiple versions is extremely confusing. Can you have straightforward licences for all versions and options with maybe 1 month, 3 month, 12 month and lifetime options for ALL versions and components!?

Do not buy this. It is a scam.

Have been forced to write this here as I did try to contact directly but they make it very hard. Have been using there standard navigation app over car play for some time now without any issues. But as I am towing a caravan I liked the extra features, so I paid for the various subscriptions, a small fortune, including the car play pack, only to find it does not work correctly. It starts to play the directions but never completes them. Also, if I have media or radio playing, after interrupting it to play the direction, it does not recommence the media or radio. The standard nav app works fine, but this version is a mess.

Downloaded the trial premium version and it works fine on my phone but not on CarPlay. The icon appears on the screen with a message to finish setup on my device (iPhone). It is set up, maps downloaded, vehicle profile etc. Paid for the premium version, which advises that it will work on CarPlay and MUST be purchased to work on CarPlay - but it still doesn’t. Have sent three ticket requests for assistance, including to the urgent response email address over the last 7 days, but no response received apart from an automated response advising me to read the advice in linked articles relating to problems. I’ve done that and no joy there. Don’t waste your money on this one if you are expecting to use CarPlay. I see many reviews with the same problem, I wish I’d read them before purchasing. I should say that I also have the Premium Plus version of Sygic Car and that works perfectly on CarPlay.

So much harder to use than any other navigation app I have. Great once you finally figure out how to use it. It’s like they never trialled it on everyday people before releasing it. If you’re thinking it will be easy to use like google…. Think again.

Bought map. Didn’t load, still had basic show nothing map. Says compatible with apple CarPlay, no it’s not. Have other Sygic app and works perfect. Shame this one is disappointing.
