Nice, clean design, easy to use, and the instructions are great too. What I’m missing is a widget option for iOS, and it would be great to save at least two schedules that can be easily switched between (e.g., for days when someone stays home unexpectedly). It would also be great if it were possible to create multiple homes in case a person owns more than one property.

Please add apple watch support!

If I new that it is not free, I select another vendor for smart radiator valves.

I like each features, several improvements have been delivered, really great app!

After a year of use, whatever offset is set the temperature keeps deviating both directions and requires regular offset adjustment multiple times a day. It generates a lot of unnecessary extra heating cost that it should save in the first place and a lot of unwanted user interaction that is nonsense. Support suggested buying another tado devices for extra cost or keep bothering with manual offsetting… not recommended anymore

Overall , I like. Some improvements would be good. Geofencing feature requires location services be always active. I think this is not the best approach. When connected to the home WiFi, I am at home. That’s all. No location services required at all. ( At least this could be an alternative ) It would be nice if alternative smart schedule can be configured. Example: I configured smart schedule for weekdays in a different way as weekends. But, if I stay at home on a day of weekday the only way is the manual override, or modify the “original” schedule. It would be great to switch to an alternate schedule in such exceptions.

Nice, colourful UI, easy to navigate. Some suggestions: - rich notifications - Smart Thermostat as plain control unit for Smart Radiator Thermostats (on/off switch, no temperature to be set, only measuring) - Shortcuts integration - more information in case of errors (no remote connection) - boiler feedback ——————————————————————— - radiator thermostat constantly losing connection and after that open window notification pops up. Very annoying!!!

First of all there is no mention of in app purchases anywhere. Second all old semi automation features such as geofencing, open window detection are now payable for a hefty £2.99 a months, called Auto-assist. All these features used to be inclusive and free. 3. Since moving into subscription based services the unit prices have stayed the same which is an utter disgrace. 4. There is no added value or extra service provided for this subscription. Ridiculous. This is more money for a lot less services. Geofencing and open window detection used to be the difference Tado had against the competition. Also all marketing and sales materials are unclear and misleading regarding these issues.

Great app with helpful support team. Makes heating control very simple. 4 stars because the algorithm is inaccurate for floor heating.
