## Tangem Description
Tangem - Non-Custodial Crypto Wallet & Hardware Wallet
Tangem is a self-custody, non-custodial crypto wallet that combines a hardware wallet with a mobile crypto wallet app. Designed for secure cold storage, Tangem keeps your private keys on dedicated hardware — not on company servers.
Private keys are generated and stored on your Tangem Card or Tangem Ring. Tangem does not store, access, or control your funds or private keys. You approve every transaction using your NFC-enabled smartphone.


Hardware Cold Wallet with Secure Chip
Tangem functions as a hardware wallet and cold wallet, isolating private keys on a secure element chip certified to Common Criteria EAL6+.


Security features include:
Secure element chip (EAL6+)
Private keys generated and stored on the card
NFC-based secure communication
No server-side custody
Users can connect up to three Tangem cards to one wallet setup for backup and recovery.

Excellent app and hardware wallet. Beware that if the token or the L2 network is not on the list, you will not be able to spend/see it, even if received. And since there’s no way to extract private keys, the only thing you can do is wait for the token or the chain to be supported from Tangem. 
That happened to me with ETH on the Polygon/zkevm L2 chain, which is still not supported. @Tangem, please add support to Polygon/zkevm L2 chain, since I’ve sent funds on it and now I can’t move them.
