Update - Customer service is still not taking responsibility for any thing as I try to get answers for old problems and new concerns about pricing of new upgrade. I have written them three times trying to get answers and all they say is; unfortunately, we're not providing any priority support right now. We're trying to help our users with all problems they're facing, but our support division has limited capacity and we're unable to fix everything immediately. We're trying our best, but sometimes to create a patch is so difficult that it needs to wait for a new release version. (This is part of email I received from company not long ago. I would rather use this program but customer service is so bad I went to another program called TickTick. This program works quicker and has larger print. TickTick is slower and had smaller print. What makes the difference is that there program is well supported and this program is not. ) All I asked if the problems that have kept me from using the old version had been fixed. If the additional money I would spending on getting repeats would stay this time. This is the third time I would be buying this feature. There answer is above. Since they don't want to help me or keep me as a customer I will go else where. Since I have not been able to use this program I found another app called TickTick that is similar to Taskio. There program works great and as a added bonus i can access and backup data on line. I would rather use Taskio but they don't want me to be a customer as they refuse to answer my questions. Old - Great program. Versatile and easy to use. Tags do not work properly and cause count to be way off. Great for reminding me of what I should do today. Found I can't immediately go into the program anymore and must wait at least a minute before I am able to do anything. Also there is no backup or synch. Due to what Customer service says ' Taskio is delivered AS IS, without any warranty nor liability and with limited email support.' What they are saying to me is that they could care less about the program. I have no really responsive to major problems. except Old version works better. They also say " However we're continuously improving Taskio and introducing new features and bug fixes to our customers (based on our internal release plan). New release is coming soon. Stay tuned! "Unfortunately there has been no updates to reported problems in over 6 months. For this reason, I have reduced the stars to one star.
After a week of testing the app, I took the leap and purchased a $9.99 annual fee. A month later, I determined the tool wouldn't serve my needs. (I'm much better off with kanban task management style.) I then downgraded my account to ensure that I wouldn't be charged an annual fee for the next round. However, I made no effort, depsite downgrading my account after only one month, to recoup the already sunk 10 bucks. That was on me. One year passes and I'm charged $9.99. Not one day passes and I immediately email the owner. The owner states that according to policy, annual fees are automatically renewed. I stated that my account had been downgraded, for nearly a year, to the free version. He agrees. And states the charge was the result of a technical glitch. But refuses to refund my 10 bucks. 10 bucks isn't the end of the world (I was refunded via my credit card), but the poor customer service is. Most companies would willingly refund the monies when contacted immediately regardless of fault. But even when fault was admitted on the developer's behalf, I still paid (temporarily) the price. I recommend disengaging. There exist better task management apps with customer service that actually serves. (MeisterTask is my favorite for those that are kanban leaning.)
I wanted to love this app. But whatever you want to do this in-app purchase Window pops up & ask you to upgrade to their insane $15 or monthly subscription! This is ridiculous. Thanks but No thanks. I'll pass.
Really easy setting time. Can detect time. Crashes a lot though.
This used to work fabulously, but since the upgrade I cannot login and can only access it through the trial mode. All of my information and tasks are there. Don't really understand what went wrong or how to rectify the situation
With the new update this seems to work best with how I work. Still some room for growth, but way better than what it was.
I have been a user of this app since it first launched and have always loved it for its simplicity and layout. I love how all their updates improved the app while still keeping it with a familiar look and feel to keep true to the apps roots. This newest update is the best yet. Super fast/smooth and looks beautiful! All I can ask for now is an apple watch app, here's to hoping that's in the works. Other than that keep up the amazing work guys, best task app ever!
I have a slight obsession with finding and trying all to do apps available and this had proven to be perfect.
This apps is gorgeous. Usability is fantastic. Tags are super powerful. But the concept of Projects, Checklist, Sub-Projects, and potentially Folders and/or Areas of responsibilities are missing. Tags can only take you so far and can become rapidly cumbersome, especially with the UI/Usability choices that Taskio offer and they do not replace sub-projects or checklists within a project for example. As such, while I love many things in this application, it is too simplistic for my needs and how I manage tasks. But I am sure that many people will love it the way it is. Just doesn't work for me :-(
