Is easy to use. Reliable app

Can’t figure out how to resize the canvas, box keeps popping up asking me to rate them, app freezes with an error, default is an impracticality large pen size that I have to pay premium to change, the UI is unnatural, etc.

When they were one time price, I bought it. Now they want more money periodically. Is this even professional?

I bought this when it wasn’t free. Now I need a subscription for features I had access to beforehand. Why.

Difficulty panning without accidentally undoing. (Zeriously? What makes you think that tapping with two fingers is a more convenient way of undoing than a simple “undo” button?) No way to configure it so that only the pen will write (and not my finger-tip or whatever part of my hand accidentally touches the screen). Didn’t have to try this piece of junk for long before it was clear that it was totally useless.

now it has become pretty useless without a subscription. 😫 It would be nice to offer some benefits to long-time users!

I already do hand written calligraphy using pilot parallel pens and pens with square nibs. Using my fingers is challenging but I’d love to make a few smaller pens to try and practice on without having to buy the expensive apple pen. I love calligraphy and even the new calligrafitti style that’s becoming such a fantastic art style. While I don’t have an iPad I do have my iPhone 13 Pro and just bought my MacBook Air m2 16gb laptop so I’m hoping to advance my computer design skills from paper, canvas, etc… to computers. Only limits I have now digital wise is screen space lol

This used to be a nice little app for doodling around when you needed to just get away and let your mind flow. The new subscription model is overpriced for how I suspect most people use this app and it neuters the free part of the app. For instance, I can’t even change the pen width anymore and the default size is HUGE. In my opinion it isn’t worth having anymore as it is too expensive to subscribe to ($3 a month or $10 a year) and too limited to use the free version.
