TBR - Bookshelf

I love the concept of this app but honestly the price is very high for an app that is extremely buggy. The app often crashes/stops working when trying to open a book from the TBR shelf. Sometimes the app doesn’t register a book as being on the TBR shelf even when you open it directly from the shelf, so that when you try to add it to your currently reading shelf it duplicates the book on your TBR shelf which is really annoying. The “trope” section of the book information doesn’t appear to work very well, and you can’t search for books by trope or by genre which means that I’m still having to use other apps to find books that I want to read before being able to add it to my TBR shelf on this app. I will give it some credit though as the design of the app is very cute and I love the extra features that are included when reviewing the books. Hopefully the developers can fix the annoying bugs and improve the app.

Loving the app, would love a widget for it !

This app is cute but I have deleted and re downloaded it 3 or 4 times I find it always glitches and I don’t like that the free version doesn’t allow you to add how far through a book you currently are.

I have been using TBR to track my 2023 reads and it has been by far my most favourite app! It is easy to use to add, review and track the books that you read throughout the year. I love the ‘bookshelf’ and seeing all the books I have read on it! Although I am unwilling to pay for a subscription when the basic app isn’t functional when needed. Often the book search function won’t load properly and the app crashes and shuts down. If these issues were remedied I would be more inclined to purchase the subscription.

The TBR-bookshelf app has gotten me back on track with my reading and keeps me accountable to reach my goals throughout the year!!

This is such a cool app to be able to keep track of all the books you’ve read, want to read and are reading. I also love how you can rate books and notes about them as well as look at others. Although I would really love some of the pro features but I am not gonna buy it.

I’ve been using the free version of this app for several years now. I finally upgraded to Pro when there was a deal on Black Friday. I am a reading teacher and even recommend this app to my students. We constantly have competitions and I have students come back years later to ask me how many books I’ve read so far this year. 💕 Thank you for such a fun, easy way to keep track of my reading and goals each year! Lifetime member here for sure!!

Had for over a year loved it, had no problem with the $5 a month but now you need to buy gems to just decorate the shelves which not okay with so cancelled
