Prior to this current version you could select between gesture based control and the standard control that was available. 

Now however you are forced into using the gesture based control, and you can’t even use all of the functions of the tv either. Sure I can change source, but I can’t do things like select media player. It just seems way too difficult to get around now when before it was simple to navigate.
