TeraBox: 1TB Cloud & AI Space

This app would be fantastic if you had a cleaner interface. Even after subscribing for one month, I thought all of the adverts and stupid star earnings would go away and make for a much cleaner interface, but it didn’t. There are still lots of earn this and earn that, gets stars and the interface still looks absolutely horrible. I had to cancel subscription because of this it just looks far too cluttered. Far too cluttered.

I have other cloud services which I’m thinking of canceling. Dropbox. Google one. Microsoft one drive. I’m old & still active with health issues. Thinking all the time to cut down on subscription costs online. Needs perfecting. I hate ads it spoils it and very miserable with so much information on the page with loaded ads. It’s not right & very distasteful!

Before download an app, in the description I saw clearly stated free space for photos, videos, backups apps, etc. Unfortunately, all my videos are left behind and non of them were uploaded to TeraBox cloud. When I wanted to do it manually, in my surprise, I have to have Premium. 😳 Wow! This app description (first sentence in the description: free for documents, file sharing, videos) is misleading along with photos about the app. The other thing, one of ad videos showed me, so far, is inappropriate (P.S. I’m a recent user). Disappointed and left confused. I can recommend only if you want your documents and photos to be on the this cloud.

It’s bigger than what you think !! This is not a storage app. It’s a data collection app. They make money from selling your information, including your IP address location, browsing history, device information, and ads activities, etc… as soon you open the app for the first time a consent message pop up you think it’s just the app’s cookies! that’s what I thought but when I choose not to consent all cookies, I got shocked by the number of companies seeking data from this app around 300 company or (vendors as they call them) seeking my information! The storage service is not but a front..that’s why some reviews mentioned that they’ve been stopped from logging into their account!! it seems because they were uploading lots of big files and consuming the app’s server storage. While the app developers do not want to upgrade their servers to host more storage because I said…it’s just a front for data trading.
