I tried to cancel my account as soon as the payment went through. They wouldn’t let me despite insisting I was happy to pay for a month and understand their position. Find it crazy that they won’t refund an annual subscription despite not being active or reading any articles.
Love the articles and the pods. Highly recommend this app and subscription if you are football obsessed. But please fix the reply feature in the fan discussion forums. It won’t let me post because there is no ‘submit’ button available. It used to work until very recently - would be great to have it back.
The podcast section of the app isn't great. Cannot download in the background as it always cut and have to restart and keep the app open to progress. Please add Apple Carplay functionality!!!

Easily the best football writing I’ve read
The App and it’s content is incredible. I also love the podcasts but the actual podcast platform isn’t great. The Apple podcasts is much better and even with the ads, I have been using it. I’d be happy if episodes of shows I subscribe to would download automatically and other bits and pieces (sometimes glitchy pausing and resuming etc.) - I’m no expert but all I can say is: make it the same as the Apple system :) but, love the work #complimentsandwich
The app is good overall but the lack of podcast controls make it hard to listen and sometimes it’s easier to listen on apple’s podcast app, which has ads and defeats the purpose of the comments section as well. On the website this needs work too as the sync is poor and pods often restart if they have to be paused for any longer than a minute
