Articles are even handed and not subject to the slant found in just about any other news provider. The knowledge and depth of examination by all writers is terrific. I would buy this paper just to follow so many of the writers let alone learn the real facts of home and world affairs. My fathers wartime recollections were questioned and I was basically accused of embellishing a story. The moderator refused to withdraw the offending comment or allow me to challenge the offensive comment which drew approximately 26 likes. One person later apologised to me in writing. The person who made the comment is a regular offender and appears un touchable. This experience has left me quite distressed, my father suffered from PTSD as a result of his war service and as a 10 year old I watched his health deteriorate, until he died. It's hard to believe that a flagship national paper has such a poorly functioning app in this day and age. The most frustrating flaws include: 1) the saved story feature, which is completely broken. This makes the saved story feature utterly useless. 2) Frequently, articles display videos with a large white “play” button, but don’t be fooled. These are merely images or graphics; the videos don’t work and are unplayable.
