I love The Economist and I was always frustrated by the slow and unreliable app. As of Dec 2024, I’m happy to report the app has gotten better over the last few updates. Kudos to The Economist for taking the time to address reliability issues :-)
There is not enough time in the day to review all of the interesting and informative content. The app is easy to navigate and has been stable.

The Economist brings me all over the world, every day, every week. The quality of the articles always fulfills my expectations.
I have enjoyed reading the Economist for years. Most recently on line due to post delivery delays and now suffering a postal workers dispute. However after a recent app update it is much more difficult to follow the magazine. So very happy with the content when it delivers, but extremely unhappy with the delivery. To the degree that I might not renew my subscription if online doesn’t improve.
I can read the economist on my iPad while sitting in a comfortable chair
The quality and depth of their articles and podcasts allows me to understand my world from multiple facets everyday.
Essential morning read - both Morning briefing and First thing. Weekend reading - weekly edition.
Good but harder to read and find things than print edition.
