Brief concise new review each morning

Latest version is very buggy, crashes, unresponsive, and overheats iPad
I have been using this app on my iPad mini 6 and iPhone 13 since May 2023 and have had no problems using it until about 2 weeks ago, which is why I’ve decided to write this review in the hope that I’ll get your app developer’s attention to the serious bugs in your latest release which renders this app practically unusable. This latest version suddenly felt so bloated and has frozen/crashed on my iPad mini on a few occasions. Article and navigation links are often unresponsive when tapped, many times requiring me to tap twice or thrice to open an article or go back to the main menu. Swiping an open article to the right to go back to the main menu no longer works, as what happens now is the open article just slides back into place. More notably, my iPad will start to heat up simply by viewing an article for about 3-5 mins. with no audio or video running, meaning the app must be running some processor-intensive operation even with a simple article open which is enough to overheat my iPad. Another thing I used to do often which I could no longer do with this version is to listen to your podcast or audio recording of your articles, which I used to regularly do while jogging. This time, playing any of those (using the iPhone app) will just stop in less than a minute as the app will simply crash. For now, I just listen to your podcasts via Spotify, but then I could not listen to your articles as they’re only available on your app. Please address these issues asap. Thanks.

Good magazine, great reporting, good enough app
The only thing that needs to be improved is how I have to log back in often, because, for some reason, the app logs out of my account maybe once a week. Otherwise, its a good enough app for a great news magazine.
