Contains articles with information that never gets mentioned elsewhere.  I should also point out, in a world where journalism seems to be denigrated at every conceivable opportunity by the powerful, the articles seem to all be very well reasoned & thoughtful.  They certainly seem to go out of their way to source information that seems to be avoided by the really big corporate media outlets.

Horrendous. No search function, doesn't actually work when integrating with Apple account. It took me ages just to confirm the subscription, moving between the browser and the app and it still prompts me to link accounts. Gives me notifications for something but never shows me what they are when I open the app. I can barely believe this app is from a national newspaper, and it's even more unbelievable that they actually want paying for this.

I’ve never used this app on an iPhone (iPhone 4, 6 and now X) when it hasn’t been buggy and borderline unusable. 

It constantly stalls and crashes and there is a bug in the UI when scrolling down an article which will reset to the beginning if your finger moves even slightly to the left or right - very annoying if the article is long.  

Considering how long these bugs have been a mainstay of the app, it’s clear their online team have little interested in addressing any of these issues.

This is a terrible upgrade which foists intrusive advertising all over the content, obscuring the stories and grossly interrupting the reading experience. Reading experience buggy and slow as well. Navigation haphazard. Looks terrible on iPad.
