While The Knot app has some great wedding planning features, it's unfortunately not inclusive of Canadian users, which is frustrating.

I repeatedly entered my reception address manually and saved it multiple times, but it didn’t work. I tried the “search Google” option, but clicking it led to an error message every time, which made it unusable.

The UX/UI is also lacking. The wedding website font is tiny and hard to read, with no text editor to adjust it for accessibility. Most disappointing, Canadians can't use the registry or cash fund features because they require a U.S. bank account, routing number, and mailing address.

Overall, The Knot app has potential, but there are too many barriers for non-U.S. users and several usability issues that need to be addressed.  The Weddingwire is more seamless and effortless for Canadians.

This all is fantastic but there is a few features I cannot use because I live in Canada like the venue suggestions and trip vouchers on the registry menu but my biggest and only real issue is I cannot make my honeymoon fund show up on our website because it requires me to link it to a United States bank account so it’s useless. Just let me have it displayed even if they can’t submit funds!!! It’s a piss off that isn’t an option guests and bring cash if they see it on the website but don’t have a payment option but now can only see gifts 🤦‍♀️

I’m currently planning my wedding and using this mainly for the wedding website. On my computer I can navigate the site just fine and it saves my edits. The app does not. I tried changing the design, updating dates, it always reverts back to the original. For our purposes it will do the job, but the app needs work.

The app lags A LOT when you’re typing. 
When you add in a new guest name it automatically shows them as ‘invited’. In order for a guest to be invited, you need to send them a save-the-date then an invite but there’s no easy place to check out that you’ve sent those things - as in what stage you’re at with that guest in the invitation process. I also think it would be far better if you could just send out your save-the-dates and invite all at once through the app.

Other than that, the app and website has been great at keeping me on tracking and using all of their digital resources!

I appreciate what The Knot offers - great resources, great templates for a site and invitations, lots of great content for wedding planning.
The website often states to use the app, however, when I use the app it frequently crashes. I mean most of the time I try to use it.
The website templates need some work because a lot of formatting is just not possible, so the website looks like a word dump.
Please offer languages beyond English. It’s so difficult to try to cater to a guest lists with various language requirements.

But the crashing! Lots of crashing. Save content frequently or write it elsewhere and copy and paste into the app so you have the content.
