The Mighty

Having been through quite a lot of trauma lately and changes which I’m not used to it’s nice to be able to share my personal experience to see if there is anyone out there that is feeling similar feelings as myself currently. Maybe I’ll find support in other areas of my life which I currently don’t have.

The mighty is a good way to check in online when you are unsure of how you are feeling. Danny runs the app to make sure you can check in at any time to say how you feel given the circumstances. If you are feeling blue check in with Danny he will tell you what to do. He has this amazing ability to just know what to do and when. If you don’t know what to do check in here and we will all help you feel better. In this world it’s nice to know how we are all feeling. If you love the app check in. Thank you, Lucy

I have been using this app for a while now and find the community it allows me to have access to very helpful and supportive overall. The app itself is easy to use. My only criticism although at this moment I’m unsure if this is still the case , it doesn’t seem to allow me to set my location accurately.

I am sitting in a chair in pain. haven’t slept in 48hours waiting for my prescription to come in the post. They said today 11.00am - 2.45pm. All I have is paracetamol, they say you can’t take more than 8 or is it 12 a day. It hasn’t helped really. My doctor isn’t taking my Fibromyalgia seriously. I’m given Oramorph. morphine patches and Gabapentin. I’m given a certain amount each month. it runs out before the month has ended and I have to wait. I don’t have. life anymore. I’ve suffered for years and also had a stroke some years back so sort of numb on one side. My daughter can’t really help as she is busy with her life and family. My partner doesn’t live with me anymore. We are basically just friends now. So I’m lonely and I can’t sleep because of my pain so I’m just pacing or rocking in pain. Pain, loneliness and tired it’s frightening really I start panicking because I’m scared that I’ll die like this alone. Just me and Fibromyalgia. I’d love to talk to other people with Fibromyalgia. Maybe you can help me through it. Thankyou. for getting to the end of my ranted. I hope some one is out there. Wendy xx

This App is an essential that everyone should have, no matter how much support they require and regardless of any health conditions

This app has opened up a world where people that “get me” are just inside my iPad/phone. I may be isolated and more often than not alone but I know if I reach out to the app then people “ just like me “ will be there and it makes the daily suffering just a little more bearable

Very helpful app when one is in need of support but not wanting to burden family with wayward thoughts. Very helpful and supportive community

The thought of anyone suffering albeit mentally or physically makes me feel very emotional but knowing I’m not the only one with this awful illness really helps that they totally understands This website allows us all to vet out feelings yet grow our understanding of others pain.
