Sends a really bad message
Yes this is lovely animation but the message of the game seems really misguided. Grover is scared and asks (sometimes pleads) you not to turn the page. If your child listens, nothing happens. The only way to play is to ignore Grover’s feelings. Not something I want to teach my child.
Incredibly bad value for money
It's not a bad game but I was expecting something to happen. You finish it in a few minutes and then it's just a case of repetition. I cannot believe what a waste of money it was, even if it was 1/10 the cost it would be poor value
Simple and great fun
A great ipad book.

My 2 year old loves this and I love the smile this puts on his face!!!
A monster
This was a really disappointing app. I wouldn't chance buying any more in the series because it was quite expensive for what it is. Rubbish!
No good for an obedient child
This didn't work for my son. Grover tells him not to turn the page so he doesn't. He just sat there staring at it despite my urging him and telling him it was actually OK to turn it! It wasn't that he was scared he was just doing what the app was telling him and taking it literally. Even on subsequent attempts. So far a waste of money :-(
So good and true to the original book
Buy this if you enjoyed the original book. The app gives it a fresh edge but keeps the style and humour of the original. Well done, a great conversion.
Great Book for Kids (big and small :)
This is fantastic - one of the best kids ebooks I've bought (up to about 17 now) The story is funny but the best things is that it is read by Grover (all the way through for me - no idea what the guy below is going on about :-) and is really quite funny, even for an adult. It doesn't have quite as many interactive elements as say Cozmo or Morris Lessmore but it doesn't suffer for that at all - there's stuff to do on each page but not so much that reading it with your children at bedtime becomes a chore - just the right amount to keep them interested and keep the story moving along. Not only that, but the interactions feel relevant and part of the story in a way that not many others have managed to pull off. The most important consideration though is that my kids love it - who doesn't love Grover?? - so much so that we've bought the sequel too! Highly recommended !
Grover does not talk
Grover talks on a couple of pages and the just stands there and talks but with no sound coming out, it's poor !! Don't waste your money
