This app was tough to find but very rewarding. I quite frankly believe the price of this app is a steal. I I would easily pay $15 - $20 dollars as it has compensated for all the time you would’ve spent browsing the internet for the basic knowledge let alone the more advanced buzzwords. Everything is explained in a way that seems as simple as possible which makes it super easy to learn. I would love to call this an app well done. It’s not nearly as modern as a Facebook, Audible, or other well known brand interfaces but it does a great job. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase “The Video Guide” if they created one. Thank you for your hard work.

It’s quite remarkable how expansive and high quality the content of this app is! Definitely well worth the money. I love the new Augmented Reality tool, it also shows you times for Gold Hour, Blue Hour etc. which is super useful if you’re into landscape photography. Thanks for making this great app!

Although it is quite handy and helpful app for me, it crush in IOS 7.0.2 iPad Wish u guys to make some modification and bug fix .

It's a app that has a ton of info on photography! Helpfull to people beginning photography.a handy reference for experienced photographers as well. New update blasts even more matirial.

This app is a great reference for non-photographers to understand various photography concepts. Not only is there a comprehensive glossary of terms, but there are topical areas to explore for both complex (D/SLR) and simpler cameras. Bonus is a section on iPhone-specific photography, and how to get the most from the iPhone camera. For folks new to photography, this app is recommended to illustrate concepts. There's even a section on example setups for taking different types of pictures with D/SLR cameras. For folks a bit more experienced with photography, the glossary is a great way to look things up you may have forgotten, and the included quick ensures you're on your game when it comes to photography terms.

Overall a good app with helpful hints and good explanations of photo technique. The translation from German is often awkward, however, and frequently inaccurate. The quiz section still has explanations in German, not translated. Moreover, many of the questions are unclear due to the awkward translation and most of the answers are frankly wrong. This would be a four or five star app if the translation were reworked by someone whose native language is English, the explanations in the quiz translated, and the quiz answers corrected.

Update? Wo ist es?

Ich nutze die App seit der 3er Version und finde sie nach wie vor sehr gut. Die einzelnen Themen sind gut verständlich in kurze Kapitel aufgeteilt, die über Inhalts- oder Stichtwortverzeichnis gefunden werden können. Die vielen Beispielfotos sind sehr hilfreich. Auch als fortgeschrittener Anfänger finde ich immer wieder interessante Inhalte, oder schlage einfach mal was nach. Etwas zu viel finde ich die ausführliche Beschreibung der Smartphone Fotografie und der unterschiedlichen Handys. Ihr braucht doch nicht jedes iPhone einzeln zu beschreiben. Aber egal, gehört vielleicht zum Thema Fotografie dazu. Ich kann die App eigentlich jedem Fotografiefreund empfehlen. Update 1.4.2020: Ich nutze die App immer wieder mal um Wissen aufzufrischen oder einfach mal zu sehen was es Neues gibt. Die App wird gut gepflegt und weiterentwickelt. Das gefällt mir. Gruße an die Entwickler: Gut gemacht, aber bitte verzettelt euch nicht in Randthemen oder so Pillepalle wie AR oder iPad Fotografie. Wer fotografiert denn ernsthaft mit nem Frühstücksbrettchen?

Eine Pflicht-App für Menschen, die sich ernsthaft mit der Fotografie beschäftigen möchten. Super für Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene.
