The previous version was user friendly, but this version is not. The tabs at the bottom are ok, but I like to mostly read the paper, which is now difficult to navigate. The font is small, and when tapped to enlarge, not much better. One page at a time is good enough, but two pages are too small on the screen. The one thing I like is the multi page view where you can scroll through the pages instead of the drop down where only the numbered pages was shown. We all like and accept change, but this is not a change for improvement. I will be surprised to hear a high level of praise, because I am aware the senior members of our community are the people who actually read the paper, with the rest happy to read the updates during the day. Touchy swipe left/right swiping between stories, and unable to scroll down to actually read the story, unless you have time to wait for it to decide you can scroll down. Ads should be removed for paid subscribers.
