Too many articles are for paid customers
Way too many articles are for paid customers. Don’t see value in the non paid app.
Paid version stops on its own
Very slow updates. Throws you out of the paid subscription for days with no resolution. I’m very tired of this service and will not renew my subscription .
Too many adv and bad layout
There are too many adv pops … and the new app layout is also too bad … older app version had better layout
TOI editorial policy
I am deeply disappointed. You are highlighting coverage on non consequential and tainted politicians. It appears that you are biased. I feel that you are badly failing in your professionalism. Social media says that you have motives.
Uninstalled
I read and followed times of India for at least couple of decades. The integrity of the group has become questionable for propagating incumbent government’s agenda. It consistently demonstrated lack of spine and grit in asking tough questions pertaining to common people. I am seriously disappointed by the quality of reportage from this news media and hence uninstalled this app. I will look for another newspaper, which has more determination to voice common persons’s concerns, and questions.
Main page font.
The main page is too cluttered. The print is too small. The photos are not visible due to small size. Sorry to say, but not at all a good presentable page.
Persistent Advertising in paid version
Hey TOI… I am a paid user but am still getting too many ads… that’s not what I paid up for Everyday there is a new advertisement, today about plumbing services. Lol.
Dishonest subscription
The yearly subscription is sold as ‘Advt Free’ But they push their own advertising in the app as pop ups .
Waste of time and phone battery
Same news repeated with multiple posts. Seems like paid promotion going on for actors and models or some editors are just obsessed with them. If you critic the news or editors your comments will never get posted. Drains your battery and heats up your phone. After using it for more than 2 years I realized that there are better substitute available to attain news.
