Think Shape

Every other shape system has me as an hourglass, leaning towards a pear. This app decided I am the equivalent of a column. I wouldn’t have any problem if I was but if it can’t categorise me, how can it help me shop?!

Even at 63 years young, I’m still making mistakes when it comes to choosing clothes, especially if I’m trying to follow trends or recreate an outfit I’ve seen work brilliantly on someone else. The Think Shape app has brought so much clarity when it comes to knowing what really suits me and making sensible purchases. I’m excited for all that is to come from the app in the future. Keep up the good work, Think Shape!

A brilliant guide to have to learn about your body!!

Love this way of thinking about my shape in terms of proportions not pears! It’s meant that I have way more confidence in knowing what suits me and what pieces to invest in rather than buying lots of stuff, half of which I end up taking back or giving away x

I am loving this app. Even though I should know, I still make mistakes when buying clothes and my mistake is trying to emulate what other people are wearing. This app reiterates to me what suits me and what I should wear which I am finding very helpful. I think it’s good value and any help I can get is great and new ideas are great too.

There is nothing wrong with this app that a drastic reduction in price wouldn’t fix. It’s well made, detailed and would be worth it for around £6.99. At £35 it is staggeringly slight and an absolute rip-off. I’m sure lots of work went into making it, but its price needs to be about its worth to each person buying it, based on the value they get. And at the moment, it’s a complete cheat. You need to refund the people you have charged so much and rethink your model if you want this to succeed.

I was expecting so much more from this app and have been left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed I’m not really sure what the £35 has paid for, I was expecting it to unlock more ideas and suggestions but sadly I feel cheated out of my money Some of the videos won’t load and all I see is a green page, it’s does say more ‘content to come’ but when will that be? I’d suggest you take the free advice and don’t waste your money on the subscription

I can’t believe how little you get for your money. I bought this in good faith after a recommendation from Anna Murphy in the Times and the total advice amounts to about 2 pages of a decent magazine article. And much of what Trinny and Suzanna were saying 20 years ago. I imagined I was buying personalised advice - albeit generalised to my type - that would come with a big catalogue of photos and ideas to suit each of the body shapes, occasions, moods, sizes and also show some recognition of different style preferences. This app barely scratches the surface. The clothes and style suggestions for my body shape are horrible, and with only three ideas to come away with, with I am wondering what I’ve paid for, except lots of their celebratory lunches I can see on their IG site. This app is just not ready to launch. It is wafer thin and a bit unfair to promise so much and underdeliver. They say they are adding more images but it should be a finished product. There should be at least 20 different outfits modelled on a range of sizes for each body type - as a minimum. Save your money and buy a book or something. I had set aside a day off to have fun with this and the whole experience lasted about an hour and left me feeling deflated and totally uninspired. It’s all hype.
