Best app for my productivity thus far, with some bugs

R4tiocination on

Finnland

I’ve tried a few productivity apps before, but this one has somehow managed to land in the sweet spot for me on the minimal to game-ified scale. No idea what design magic they’re pulling, but I feel that I can finally schedule my tasks (and visually mark everything!) in a way that my brain can easily understand it all. There’s a couple of caveats though, which haven’t been dealbreakers for me but might be for some. There’s quite a few visual bugs, especially if I swipe too fast on the screen and my agenda for Thursday somehow ends up on Friday. Well, in general, the app is a little slow on response time and doesn’t like gestures in quick succession. The transitions, too, are a little choppy when I set my battery to low power mode to maximize its life throughout my day. I’ll be continuing to use the app for now since it’s the best I’ve encountered so far, and hope that some of these issues can be optimized/fixed in the future. Also, night mode for desktop, please!

ADHD rage

🆕®️🔚🆖 on

Finnland

In 12 hours it caused me rage because of the stupid settings, the nonsense layout, the options that should be in there but they just aren’t. The app should be useful, but it isn’t at all the way I would expect it to be. It isn’t even motivating, there is no reward in completing a task

Glorified calendar asking for premium

TanoPrime on

Finnland

Tried out the app for a few days, it seems like the main thing it does different than the phone’s default calendar app is badger to pay for premium. Deleted.

Better than Structured. I like it.

Unreliable app with missing basic scheduling functions

TiemusR on

Finnland

App can not be used for tracking daily activities, since the updating mechanism is unreliable and constantly loses information like when an activity was ended and even returns activities to undone status. Because of bad user interface, reusing activities is also needlesly difficult: There is no option to save activities for reuse in categorized form, so if you want to reuse activity you have to search them manually or make new one every time. On top of this, the app constantly pushes adds for its own events and ”content”, even when you have turned off notifications for everything else expect beginning and ending of tasks. And this with Premium subscription.

Visual and inspiring, but a little unflexible

.K.E.R. on

Finnland

I’m still looking for an app that would allow me to have notes and to do lists and daily tasks in one glance. I like color coding and tiimo has that function, which is good. Although I’d like to be able to choose whether I want just a notification of a task, and/or a timer as well. Right now I start to feel super bad about myself, if I’m not able to fulfill the task in the set time, which makes me paralyze even more. I like the visuality and the widgets, but would wish for more personalization or flexibility to make it match more to my specific needs. Love the fact that it’s made thinking of us with adhd. ❤️

Worst task app possible, avoid !

Janusxy on

Finnland

A task app that doesn’t even allow to add tasks, no error or messages given. The buttons just don’t work and the tasks don’t appear anywhere. No matter what you do. Also the UI is kinda terrible. Spend your money and time elsewhere.

long review from autistic adhd person :D

tldr: my autism adhd brain likes tiimo, you should try it i think my favorite thing about tiimo is how visual it is! it’s way easier to comprehend everything i need to do when i can have little icons for every activity, i can color code everything and having a progress bar helps me understand how much time has gone way better :D i had my school schedule to tiimo through the default calendar app, and being able to see my schedule one class at a time made it so much simpler to figure out what i had next, and seeing the amount of time left of each lesson visually helped a lot too :D in general i love that tiimo will tell me how long is left of an activity or until an activity rather than show the starting and ending times only <3 i’ve been using tiimo for a bit over a year now and i’ve felt it’s worth the money the whole time, even when i haven’t necessarily been using it a lot. (tho it’s definitely more useful when you have school or work). i’ve used it as a calendar to mark every event i have, and i use it to block out specific things i want to get done each day (like showering, playing games or making art), but there’s so many ways to use it depending on what works for you. i do recommend reading some of the articles/guides they have for getting started with tiimo, since it can be a bit overwhelming to get used to otherwise (and difficult) it’s not a long read and it’s definitely worth it (from what i remember it wasn’t taht hard to read either). of course tiimo isn’t perfect, it can be a bit buggy and hard to use at times, but it’s the best time management/calendar system i’ve found, and i’ve tried a lot of them. it actually works for my brain! :DDD i wanna mention at the end that it won’t fix your life tho. as much as it helps me, i still struggle to actually do what i’ve planned and i sometimes forget to mark important events and thus forget their existence, tiimo just makes it easier for me to see my plans and events clearly, so i have less to keep up with in my head, you still need to put in the effort to actually use tiimo and do all the things <3

Recommend- and team is really helpful.

All together I love this App and it’s had major improvements over time. Really recommend anyone who struggles with organizing themselves to check it out. I had some problems with the App not working on my Apple Watch - but the team reached out to me and provided me with a temporary solution / unpublished fix. The communication was super easy, the staff friendly and it’s awesome that they care about their customers in that way.
