What happened to this station? All the big hitters are leaving/ling since left and we’re having one-issue news correspondents being given three hour shows as fillers rather than any substantial hires! The business correspondent and Roya Niqua being given their own show? It’s preposterous!  I am however glad the latest to go is the woeful Aasmah Mir - that attention seeking cackle, the snorts, throat clears and bored nasal grunts when she interviews people will not be missed! Just get someone with heft in to replace her please!

Since last update, the app is crashing several times an hour. It’s really frustrating and will put me off listening if this is not resolved. 

App poor - glitchy and functionality dead basic. Could understand it in early days but it’s nearly two years old now. Need download function and ability to manipulate the play bar so you can scan through news and ads on playback. Station is failing all round - flagship presenters like Coren, Williams, Jones, Kleeman, Newton Dunn and Portillo (who shows up about one weekend in four) dropping like flies and mediocre presenters like Davidson, Tilley and McInnes replacing them. Business model clearly failing so stuffed with highly annoying ads among the self-advertising jingles. Actual airtime about half as a result. Breakfast show continues to annoy with lightweight non-journo presenters out of their depth reading off scripts with the big stories of these trying times and topped off by that truly awful Mir woman screeching with laughter at every turn, snorting, clearing her dry throat and grunting through her nose every ten seconds when “interviewing” (reading her script). What a waste after a promising start!

I like Times Radio most of the time, but I find Ed Fay to be a completely incompetent broadcaster. He stumbles over his words and is far from fluent so sadly I switched off.

Five stars for best presenters Stig and Aasmah, such chemistry and intelligent reporting. Sad to lose Aasmah ! But…Please do not replace with a presenter who says ‘that was so interesting’ and then repeats what the interviewee has just said in her weaselly tone, interrupts and is generally very annoying talking about her kids and personal experiences.
We know who that is, don’t we?? Just saying…

I used to really enjoy listening to Times Radio and am currently a subscriber to The Times newspaper. But while I recognise the radio station exists to reflect the views of its increasingly right wing paper, the station would be a lot more respectful to its listeners (who didn’t elect the Conservative Party to lead the country by a country mile) if it wasn’t so utterly imbalanced in its views with its conservative sneer when discussing the work of the new government. This morning’s discussion on Rachel Reeves preparation of the October budget is a case in point.

And yes, after many years I’m considering cancelling my subscription to The Times.

For some reason, CarPlay keeps asking me to log onto the app on my iPhone which the app itself never asks me to do. This means I am unable to listen as it’s not possible to open the app while driving. 
Developers, I have emailed you twice about this in the past week or so but haven’t received a response.

Andrew Neil always knowledgeable and challenging whether you agree with hum or not. Don’t let him go. At his best when not too combative! 
Garvey and Glover always thoughtful, entertaining and fun. 
Dip in and out of others. 
Agree with some here that that advertising is irritating, particularly presenters parroting slogans for Nationwide B S and others. They can’t be comfortable doing that in the context of honest reporting. 
Notice that catch up - which is an asset - occasionally crashes out of a programme at the end so you don’t catch an important point. Suggest you add a minute to the end of your recordings.
Otherwise healthy variety of views makes a very listenable mix.

Old and/or poor folks drive cars with nearly as many miles on as their knees. 
We do this because it is cheap, ecologically correct and overall sensible. 
But if you only have a converter in your car listening to Times Radio and others has now become very difficult. Cutting off 3G means exceptionally poor coverage outside of big cities. No coverage no Times.
