Tinybeans Private Family Album

For weeks now, the app has crashed while I try to upload photos with captions, etc. It’s very frustrating to spend time trying to add content only to have it either not appear or crash in the middle of uploading. I’m also frustrated that Tinybeans has stated that we own the photos and content but have made it very difficult to get it out of the app. I’ve tried to contact them several times for support with both of these issues and they haven’t gotten back to us. I’ve been a long time customer and originally enjoyed the ability to privately share with my friends and family. But as the app has continued to evolve, it seems they’ve opted for more ads, clickable content, etc. and away from the original intent/design. I’m sad to say that I’m seriously thinking about canceling my subscription and moving off the platform entirely.

Great app- really bizarre fee schedule. I think I’ve twice paid for lifetime membership and now I have to pay annually anyway. Can someone give me clarity on what the heck is happening?

I love tiny beans but it just doesn’t work. Most of the time there’s a “server issue” or it will crash after selecting the photos you want uploaded. It’s such a great idea just needs some tech support to make it work properly

I have been with this app for 8 years now (before my son was even born). I loved this app for 7 of those years but I am now forced to find an alternative to safely share memories of our kids with our family. I would have considered the exorbitant yearly price if the program ran correctly. I find it very glitchy. Almost impossible to upload photos and videos at times. Incredibly disappointed in how this business has turned out. I use to recommend it to all families but now will be forced to find a program that runs better and doesn’t charge so much to share 20+ photos and videos per month, and that’s even if the app lets you upload them. Such a shame!

Nice app but multiple daily emails really overwhelming - there doesn’t seem to be any way to turn them off

I am sick of paying for an app that continuously has problems. I contact support who say the latest problem will be fixed in the next update. Sometimes it is, but generally it is not. One big problem hasn’t been fixed for months and I’m sick of it not being sorted. It is affecting my use of the app. I understood the app going to a paid model however I do not understand why there are more problems then when it was free.

I was already shocked when it went from free to $56.99 pa but to now jump up to $74.99 pa is MASSIVE!! Not sure I can continue to justify using it at this price 😳

Not really happy and won’t be renewing. It’s very expensive for an average user experience, regular bugs /app crashes and what bothers me the most is that we’re paying for a supposedly ‘ad free version’ but actually everyone but the account owner still sees ads! End product offering (if you wanted to print your photos, albums with commentary etc etc) is lacking and of poor quality.

I downloaded the app today and began to upload photos of my baby’s life so far. Only to find so many glitches. Photos were uploading and disappearing later on. Some photos were uploading twice and duplicating, I’d then have to delete the duplicate. In addition there’s very few resources to teach you how to use the app. I’ve found it to be glitchy and not as seamless as I would like.

Be great to wind the releases back. Turn VPN off and works fine, that’s got to be telling us something
